I am funny, creative, and easy going.

My Self-Summary

Travis here.

If you like to talk about movies a lot, you're going to hear a lot of "huh"s and "what"s from me.

I, occasionally, use words that might be considered "unclean." I don't toss them in every other word, but they are used.

I think I'll let the rest of my profile do the talking.

What I’m doing with my life

Aging.
Work and school.

One of my goals is to get my MFT and do something with that.

I also spend a lot of my time contemplating finishing an album.

I’m really good at

Guitar. I can't shred or anything, but I can keep a rhythm and write songs. When it comes to music in general, I know some stuff. I also play ukulele, bass, piano, and some other instruments.

As far as intelligence goes, not to nerd things up or anything, I tend to do better when it comes to analyzing things. The reason I bring that up is that I'm attempting to not look as stupid when I do poorly on word searches. From what I understand, it's a different kind of exercise.

The first things people usually notice about me

Usually that I don't talk much. It does take me a while to warm up to people, but mostly its because if I don't have anything to say, I usually won't say anything. That, and I'm more of a "person-person" than a "people-person."

And maybe my beard.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Music: I listen to a decent variety. At the risk of being cliche, I'm not too much into Country though.

Some of my favorite artists are: CAKE, Nirvana, Muse, Counting Crows, Foo Fighters, AFI, RHCP, Thrice, The White Stripes, Dr. Dre, Immortal Technique, Zero 7, Bob Marley, Elton John, Above and Beyond.

Television: Sitcoms. Sitcoms. Sitcoms. My favorites are Married... With Children, Malcolm in the Middle, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Futurama, The Bernie Mac Show, Seinfeld. I'm also a huge fan of both Breaking Bad and Dexter. Starting to get more into Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Movies: Mostly comedies. My favorite movies are Saving Silverman and South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.

Again, I don't watch many movies.

Food: American, Soul, Bajan, Japanese.

Dishes: Pigeon pea rice. Korean BBQ ribs. Enchiladas. Sushi. Corn bread. Pears are good.

And, of course: Coffee.

The six things I could never do without

1. The Internet - Not to sound like I spend all day hovering over my computer and checking for updates, but you can find a lot of shit online.

2. Pandora Radio.

3. Coffee.

4. Not completing lists.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Art that connects with people. Whether it's a painting, song, book, or whatnot, there is little more satisfying than finding something that you connect with. I like art for other reasons as well, but "understanding" means a lot.

Psychology really interests me for a variety of reasons.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends. My life doesn't involve a lot of partying though.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Candy and Ronny haven't seen them yet. Oh, but they're so spaced out.

You should message me if

If you're down to just talk, or something as simple as going out for coffee, or any other activities.
