I spent a large portion of my formative years moving around–primarily in the southern states, but I also spent 3 years living in Papua New Guinea–so I have a slightly different perspective from a lot of people. This constant moving affected me profoundly in many ways–a reserved demeanor, an inexorable wanderlust, a love of exotic food and cultures.
I consider myself an intuitive, inquisitive and imaginative person. My personality seems to let people feel they can open up to and trust me. Some have gone so far as to say i should be a therapist, but I feel offering friendship and leading communal music would be a much better use of my talents. I value honesty as paramount–sometimes even to a fault, because I often come across as brusque. However, people usually characterize me as being a nice person.
In groups I often let the others do the talking, however, I have no problem taking a leadership role. I do tend to talk a lot with the few people for whom I feel close. I value experiences and prefer to spend my money doing things or eating fancy/exotic food rather than having material things.
