My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, I'd like to think I'm interesting. Can be kind of goofy, but very smart. Very laid back. Went to school in Vermont and I miss it. I have a quirky sense of humor and I enjoy making puns. I was the "Hemogoblin" for Halloween last year, and "Bearistotle" the year before that. Puns are my favorite sense of humor, by far. I like to read a lot and teach myself things when I get bored. Love to fish and hike and hang out outside.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently a computational biology PhD student, took a year off to work as a teacher and do Americorps
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm an excellent writer and scientist. I've published creative writing and presented a poster at a genetics conference. Love to write anything from short stories to sonnets and grants. I'm athletic but also kind of uncoordinated - swimming's my sport. I swam two years in college, but gave it up to focus on schoolwork and friends. Graduated this year with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Journalism, Summa cum Laude from Saint Michael's College.
