Hard worker that has both feet on the ground. Serious about my
chosen profession, but not a workaholic. I'll put in the extra
hours/days/week to meet a deadline, but take off for 3 weeks the
day after.
I love
travelling, exploring,
learning,
cooking] and enjoying the simple
things. Writer, photographer, diver,
mad scientist, engineer,
tinkerer.
My travel luggage is always ready. Avid sun seeker /
scuba diver / photographer /
videographer. Daytrips / weekendtrips. I like a warm climate. Lazy
summer evenings spent charring something on the bbq. Drive up to
santa cruz for ice cream , go to Carmel for a walk on the
beach. Forget the hustle and
bustle. Lets go to sausalito and have lunch at the garage.
'Roughing it' in the woods ? No thanks, pass me that Club Med /
Sandals / Four seasons brochure please, and get me the phone number
of my travel agent.
I come with no 'luggage' and an open mind. I'm a low maintenance
guy, khakis , chinos and a nice shirt, or polo or hawaiian shirt,
shorts and flipflops on my off-time. Like the aussies say : no
worries.
I mostly spend my working time figuring out new electronics to
store more data on those spinning platters in computers.
My off-time is shared between enjoying california,
writing technical books and
articles,
cooking
(i like charring some bovine or avian meat), watching good movies.
Fixing stuff: electronics, computers, food ...
Enjoying the oceanside both topside and underwater. I'm an avid
scubadiver. I
take of mulitple weeks a year to do some serious diving (3..4 dives
a day and i'll do the nightdive as well.) I combine my other
hobbies of
photography and
videography with my passion for
travel.
I'm your average joe... but i know where all the good restaurants
are.
Music : Anything goes as long as its got a tune and it makes me
feel good.
Books : scifi / comedy / science and technology. Either fun stuff
or practical stuff.
Tv/movies : Fun / action / comedy movies.
Some people say the glass is half full, other people may say it's
half empty. I keep wondering what's in it... and who will fill it
when it does get empty.
Home. Taking a break from the week. Thinking about the weekend and
what to do. So many choices.
I don't like the taste of alcohol but i like the smell ...
You have a glass with something interesting in it.
