My self-summary Propose an edit
I am shy and introverted and am uncertain if this is the right
thing to do because socializing with people is very hard for me but
I am determined to find a woman who will accept me as I am. I am a
nice guy who just retired from 31 years of federal service and am
just looking for a casual relationship where we meet only a few
times a month at first. I'm conservative in my manner but you'd
probably find my views on a lot of issues more progressive than you
might guess. Politics is fun to discuss but I have no litmus test
for my partners. Marriage is extremely unlikely (I'm a life long
bachelor). I'm physically fit, cross country ski, run, don't dance,
have never owned a cell phone, look 10 years younger than I am, yet
really don't have a clue when it comes to women and dating. One
thing I will not do is play the "boy-girl" dating game. I am who I
am and want to be accepted as that. How's that for truth in
advertising?

the Ventures, the Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, etc.
