By my very nature I am a teacher, artist, behavioral scientist, philosopher and freestyle dancer -- whether or not I get around to claiming any of these identities professionally in my lifetime. A good friend once dubbed me “the great communicator”. My deli guy calls me “boss”. I can appreciate both the perfect musical couplet and the well-executed ninety-yard drive. I am naturally curious and have an adventurous spirit (just went skydiving for the first time - amazing!). More than anything, I am fascinated by people and continually amazed at how long life really is.

I was born and raised in San Diego, lived in Seattle, went to college in Boston and have spent the past eight years in New York City. I have immediate family all over the country, which makes my bond with them all the more satisfying.
