My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a 26 year old dude whose primary passions are people and games. My primary aim in life is to make other lives better, and I am planning on going to graduate school (either social work or education) to facilitate my goals.

In my free time though, you'll definetly find me glued to a good video game, board game, or book.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I teach at Sylvan Learning right now. I never thought it'd be for me, but I really like seeing kids' faces right when a tough concept clicks. Teaching is way more fun than I gave it credit for!

Apart from that I've been readying applications for graduate school. After a few years out of college, I realize school is something I want back in my life, and I honestly wouldn't mind being a student for a while longer.

The eventual goal is to reform education and make life a little better for teenagers and 20somethings who have lost their way.

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and board games. If I'm not doing that, I'm either somewhere warm with a book, or at the gym.

I'm losing a ton of weight. Being healthy owns, and I feel awesome after losing 30 pounds in four months. The gym isn't always easy, but it's worth it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've always enjoyed tutoring and teaching people, especially about my own interests.

I give good advice and providing therapy has always been an interesting prospective career path.

I'm also good at singing and whistling, but only if the radio in the car is REALLY LOUD.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile, the whistling, or the raucous laughter.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Tao of Pooh and The Antidote: These helped me sort out my mental well being so much and I recommend them to everyone.
Grapes of Wrath (this was the first book I was "forced" to read for school that stuck with me).
A Theory of Justice (John Rawls is my favorite philosopher).
Anything John Green

Frozen (those songs are stuck in my head forever)
Hard Candy
The Big Lebowski
Anything Wes Anderson
In Bruges
Man on Wire (I never thought I'd have such feelings about tightrope walking)
Free to Play (Valve made a documentary, really good view on the new world of competitive gaming).

TV Shows:
House of Cards, True Detective, and Sherlock were my jams. I will also fight you if you make me miss Cosmos. Other than that the TV usually stays off, but I'll occasionally binge more series or anime on the weekends. Attack on Titan was pretty sweet.

I usually just jam with whatever's on the alternative station on the radio, but here are some bands I've enjoyed recently.
Anything Ben Gibbard
Andrew Bird
Bon Iver

Spicier the better.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Close friends to share my time and passions with
- A book to read
- My goals and aspirations
- My computer. I don't let it consume me, but I have met so many great people through it and have had awesome times with it. I can't imagine life without it.
- Time outside of the house. The more time I spend outside of the house, the more productive I am, and the better I feel.
- New things to learn
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I like thinking about important questions and trying to answer them.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what I'm going to play next (and how to embarrass myself less at them).

But most of all, I'm nurturing a mancrush on Neil DeGrasse Tyson. That 'stache is formidable. Someday I hope to be as passionate about my own interests as he is about astrophysics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Meeting new people, hanging out with old friends, and playing games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I forgot how to ride a bike. I think that makes me special but it doesn't FEEL special.
