I love living in DC, and have a gaggle of amazing friends. They keep me busy: rock shows, booze, yummy restaurants, theater, dinner parties, and weekend trips always sound like a good idea. They all have different values and personalities, yet what unites them is how they tolerate irreverence and also have an ability to carry a conversation.

Contradictions, especially the ones I find in others, appeal to me. I don't see any problem with finding the most grisly depraved movie exhilarating, only to ogle corgi photos moments later. Caustic commentary and flattery are never far from my lips.

Do you think split infinitives are ever rhetorically appealing?

I also occasionally host trivia nights (I'm an efficient/abusive host, and my questions are always challenging). I'm writing a play specifically because I don't think the recent crop of dark comedies are dark enough. I'm looking at you, Bachelorette.
