My self-summary
I don't know what to put here yet - but that "less kind" trait on the personality thingy is the complete opposite of what I've got going for me. I'm really nice.

I'm very responsible - I guess that sounds like I don't have crazy fun - but you might want to know that I've got a good head on my shoulders before we have crazy fun together?
What I’m doing with my life
I was just accepted into a Master's Program for Psychology that will start this fall.

I have a B.A. in television writing and I work at the Natural History Museum on Saturdays as a Stage Coordinator of a great Dinosaur show for kids. We have realistic life-size puppets of young dinosaurs that puppeteers get into. But I've been making my real living for the past 6 years as an actor in commercials and thats fine by me! Havn't had to have a side job in years and I'm very grateful.
I’m really good at
listening - I'm not saying that to be cliche

Alright...I should say more stuff so I don't seem so boring!

good at "working a room", good at starting trouble, great flirt, great at bullshitting, (oh wait, I SHOULDN'T say that), good at making sure everybody's having a good time, good with kids - (again, not saying that to be cliche, my mom had a daycare growing up)
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm charming, sweet and smart.

should I keep going...? I honestly don't know if thats enough or not. where is the online dating rule book?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
in softcover, on opening night with a packed audience, that are comedic, in outdoor venues, from a fair

Jeez, making long lists of stuff is kinda lame for a dating website I think, at least it takes a long time!

I'll just say KCRW so I don't have to list all the bands and RIP Indie103.1, fuck streaming.

And how 'bout, American Cinematheque/The Nuart/Downtown Independent for movies. Oh, I finally discovered the New Bev, I was late to the party. And I forgot Laemmle and the Academy of Motion Pictures. (so, is it clever that I only listed independent movie theaters or just pompous that I'm not letting us bond over pop cultural movie references?)

Yes, Ghostbusters and Back to the Future just like everybody else.

What I'll say about food is: you vegans are too damn expensive to date! So either change your ways, or you're paying for your fancy greens and nuts for both of us!

Books: Jonathan Lethem is a current favorite - next to that is the rest of the 20-something guy standard - Vonnegut, Palaniuck, Eggers, Hornby, Sederis and Steve Martin and John Stewart. And Y-The Last Man, Chew, Fables, Tumor, and a long list of other Graphic Novels and Comics. yes...comics.
The six things I could never do without
pen, paper, my stuffed toy baby monkey from when I was very young, (eye)contacts, phone, a box of cereal
I spend a lot of time thinking about
doing what is best for me while making sure I'm maintaining my friendships and connection to the family I have.
On a typical Friday night I am
As a single guy - if I'm not seeing a movie that I was really excited about, probably just get'n drinks with a buddy

with a girlfriend - either dinner, concert, a party, a comedy show, a LA event, smthn fun
