I would be a writer...except for all the paperwork! (I know that's not original, but it's such a great line!) add "plagiarist" to the list! : )
Been back in California since just before Christmas. Painted the orange living room walls and pink and lavender bed and bathrooms (nearly done with the painting, the drapes and vertical blinds!) Saving up my money to retire on that sandy beach one day. In the meantime, frequent flyer miles help me keep my sanity!

What I’m doing with my life
They just finished re-plastering my swimming pool this week.
Planning a little pool party for the fourth of July weekend. Should
be a good place to beat the heat!

Writing, singing
and Trivial Pursuit... Technical stuff: Fixing broke stuff,
breaking fixed stuff.
Cooking - I make a pretty decent sweet and sour stir fry, a meatloaf at least as good as my Mom's and soups by the crockpot. My pumpkin pie has been judged better than Mrs. Smith's and my strawberry-rhubarb is even better! My big problem is I don't really like cooking for one. Cooking and the meal after should be more of a social event, something to be shared.
I feel the same way about travel. It's better when shared!

Why am I only 97% compatible with myself? Is it that whole
"male/female" thing where I'm looking to find a woman and am not

On a typical Friday night I am
Defragging my hard drive. (Gosh! That sounds dirty, somehow!)
Unwinding from the work week. Working on a blog (or two) that

When all those people are taking moonlit walks on the
beach and going skinny dipping, I follow along behind them and
make off with their watches and wallets!
