Hey thanks for reading/looking!
I'm a BBC (British born Chinese) and moved to China a couple of
years ago for work. So, English is my first language and my
Mandarin 马马虎虎.... I do speak Cantonese as well:)
I'm new to Zhuhai and would like to meet people and make friends
I enjoy travelling and lived in Thailand for 3 years as well as
England for about 25 years... I also enjoying eating good food,
eating out, the cinema, sport (I'm a big football fan and play
So after a 2 years in China, i guess its time to update:-
I'm still BBC - though definitely learnt a lot about what it is to
be Chinese :P. English is still my first language, but i worked
hard on my mandarin and have gotten it to a stage where i can
communicate (albeit with a rather strong HK/laowai accent).
Completed HSK 3 and now doing 4!

Life goals - make a difference in someone's life, see as much of
the World as possible, cherish my family and friends, eat yummy
update 2015 - still pretty much the same. I didnt travel enough in
2014... need to fix that asap.

Favourite movies - wow.... too many. in general almost any movie is
worth watching even if its bad - helps you to appreciate the good

1. Went to Xian to see the terracota warriors,
2. Went to WuZhen. Had my HSK 汉语水平考试3级
3. quiet weekend in Suzhou, just normal things like dinner with
1. went out for dian xin lunch, then went shopping and picked up a
new pair of glasses and got a new laptop (lost my previous one...)
- then had dinner with family.
2. 31 jan 2014 start of chinese new year, so stayed in all day with
my family as it was 初一 :P
3. Flew from Shanghai to Hk, which took about 10 hours travel time
Varies.... Last 3 Fridays 2013
1. Squash then all you can eat and drink Japanese buffet near my
apartment with a friend
2. Watched Total Recall at the cinema - which wasnt terribly
3. Shanghai visiting my best friend and then went for steak and all
you can drink
