I am a lecturer and teacher and have worked in various countries such as Japan, Germany, the Czech Republic and South Korea. Living in wonderful Glasgow now.

Mmmmm where to start? I have a huge library of books and thousands more in my kindle. In particular, I really enjoy G.K Chesterton, Krishnamurti, Aldous Huxley, Albert Camus, C.G Jung, Slavoj Zizek, Fromm, Dostoevsky etc.

With movies, I really love movies by Tarkovsky, Bergman, Kurosawa, Bresson, Herzog, Hitchcock and time lapse movies such as Baraka and Samsara.

As a musician, I am really passionate about a lot of genres of music. In classical, I love Berlioz, Scriabin, Bartok, Weiss etc. I also really enjoy world music too such as indian musicians like Zakir Hussain and Ravi Shankar and anything from Mali. But I also enjoy a lot western music like PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, Gorrilaz etc. Anyway, waaaayyy too many to name :-)

I really love Japanese and Korean food as I lived there for such a long time. I also really enjoy cooking and experimenting with a lot of dishes from around the world.
