Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy exploring how ridiculous everything in life can be, then
extracting some sort of humor out of it. I tend to have a big,
outgoing personality, though sometimes I do enjoy just sitting back
and fading into the background. I'm not shy about anything, and
there's not much I get embarrassed about.
I spend a lot of time working with comedy and theater groups, and I
like looking for the humor in everything, especially myself. If I
can't find my own faults to be humorous, then who can?. Though I do
act and do a bit of improv, I prefer to stay behind the scenes and
work on the technical side of things.
At the moment I'm using "Huzzah!" as my personal catchphrase
whenever I'm happy about or celebrating something. It's at the
point where several of my friends have picked it up, so that every
round of applause is followed by a hearty chorus of "huzzahs." I
get endless joy out of this for some reason.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just got my masters in theater tech. I also write fictional
stories from time to time, which I may or may not try to get
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can get people I've just met to talk about almost anything. I
hear the phrase, "I never usually talk about this with other
people," at least once a week.
I have a knack for knowing the most obscure and difficult trivia
questions, yet somehow missing the basic questions.
Getting dogs to like me, even ones that usually don't like other
people. Cats, not so much.

When I talk, I make big random gestures with my hands. My friends
do mock me for it, and it is the central aspect of their
impressions of me. That's what I get for hanging out with a lot of

I like goofy, oddball, or off the wall things. Shows like Community
and Arrested Development, and things with very layered, in-depth
plots, like Lost. I despise almost all Reality Television, save for
The Amazing Race, which might be my favorite show ever.
For movies, Galaxy Quest, Star Wars, Die Hard, Big Trouble, The
Princess Bride, Kick Ass, Troll Hunter.
Books: Authors like Stephen King prior to his accident, or Douglas
Preston and Lincoln Child, and Redshirts by John Scalzi. Generally
any kind of speculative fiction.
I am a bit of a gamer, not as much as I used to be, but it does
help me relax.
I enjoy improv comedy, like Whose Line is it Anyway?, and I've been
performing it for three years.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't know about six things, but I couldn't live without my
closest friends, comedy, and my laptop, which has sadly worked its
way into every aspect of my life, from work, to writing, to

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
As odd as it may sound, I spend a lot of time finding patterns and
making connections between things. I tend to over-analyze
everything, which happens when you sleep as little as I do and have
more time to think in the middle of the night.

Doing lights for one show or another, which limits my Fridays, but
I do tend to have other nights free.

I also find awkwardness to be adorable. I don't know why.
Also, sarcasm is always appreciated.
