I have a tendency to palaver so please bear with me.I guess I am a bit of a nerd/geek/dork whatever way you wish to phrase it, I like a wide variety of things and know a fair bit of esoteric knowledge .I started using this site primarily to take tests, I think a personality test was what brought me here my type is INTP. My enneagram number is 5. I tend to be shy at first, so I might not message you even if I like your profile. Feel free to message me at your leisure if you wish. I tend to be quite logical, analytical and reasonable. I am also very open minded. Politically I tend to lean towards the left, with the notable exception being gun control. I am a staunch atheist although I can deal with mildly religious folk except for Creationists and people that try to force their beliefs on you all the time.

I am starting at Temple University's college of engineering in the fall. Really looking forward to starting out in college. I am planning on majoring in Electrical Engineering. One of my goals in life is to be able to read and fully understand the book " The Road to Reality" by Roger Penrose.

The first thing people usually notice about me is probably my long red hair.

First off I am going to add a sixth category to this section which shall be Games. As a aspiring book worm, movie buff, avid TV watcher, audiophile/Music lover, foodie and gamer. This section might be a little long, it is by no means comprehensive but is fairly elaborate.

Books- I read mainly two types of books, Non Fiction and High Fantasy. I don't read nearly as much as I would like to, due to my love of sleeping. Here are some examples of books I like: A drunkards walk, Lord of the Rings, a brief history of time, Wheel of time, anything by or about Richard Feynman, A song of Ice and fire, here's looking at euclid, Harry Potter. Basically anything in the Mathematics, Science, Technology, Philosophy, Fantasy,Computing or History section of a library or Barnes and Noble probably will interest me.

Movies- I like almost all genres of films, the major exception to this is foreign films; subtitles really annoy me. Some of my favorites are: Pulp Fiction, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Kill Bill, Clerks, Saving Private Ryan, Good Will Hunting, The Town, Predator, Aliens, Smart People, SuperBad, Terminator, The departed, The longest day, Goodfellas, The godfather, Appaloosa, Wonder Boys and matchstick men.

Television Shows- I currently watch all of the following: House, Californication, A game of Thrones, Shameless, Law and Order, The Chicago Code, Detroit 1-8-7, Blue Bloods, Top shot, Community, Outsourced, White Collar, Royal pains, The good wife, The simpsons, Family Guy, Top Gear, Guns and ammo and American Dad. I am probably forgetting some stuff. My favorite older television series include: The West Wing, Band of Brothers, MASH, Cheers and Star Trek. Also I am always up for a game show and I watch The colbert report, The daily show, and a variety of the network late night talk shows occasionally e.g. jay leno.

Music- The genres of music I enjoy are Rock, Blues and Electronica with a little dabbling in pop and rap occasionally.

Food- I like all types of food my particular fondness is for Asian cuisine. I also enjoy Mexican, American and Italian Food.

Games- I like to play quite a few video and board games here are a few: Settlers of Catan, Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft, Medal of Honor, Counter Strike Source, Scrabble, Monopoly, Risk, Cards,Kings Court, Chess, Munchkin and fluxx

Technology, Science,Entertainment, Great food, Fellow human beings and an awesome city to live in preferably Philly.

Let me elaborate on each of these things to some degree, this is the section of the profile that I find most interesting so I am going to make this a little long.

Technology: I spent most of my time on my computer, I really love computers. If you have a cool computer I would love to talk to you about it. I assembled mine myself I am quite happy with it.
I also am a bit of a audiophile, I need to have a good pair of headphones to listen to music on. I am currently using a pair of Sennheiser HD-650's they are awesome! Any piece of technology interests me, weather it is a computer,car,surround sound system, plane,boat or whatever chances are I will find it fasinating. I also pretty big into guns and want to start a gun collection one day :)

Science: Almost all of my academic interests lie in the field of science, without science we couldn't have all these wonderful pieces of technology that I adore so much! ( See what I am doing with my life)

Entertainment: I love pretty much any form of media or game. I really enjoy reading and watching moves/tv I spent a lot of time doing both. I listen to music almost constantly even though I don't play anything it is a large part of my life. ( See Favorites section)

Great Food: I am an aspiring foodie, I love going out to eat with friends or my family especially in town. If you know of a awesome restaurant I would love to know about it :).

Fellow human beings: What would life be like without any friends or family, would be pretty fucking boring so this one is self explanatory.

Philly: I really love this city, I like meandering around down town or driving around with friends and finding new stuff.

I really enjoy the following subjects and wish to learn more about them: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science and Philosophy. I also spend a lot of time reading,watching movies and listening to music. I like to play games and devise various strategies.

If I had anything interesting to do on Friday night I probably wouldn't be sitting around on this site. Usually sitting around my house listening to music, reading or watching a movie.
