My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Oh, you know.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated last year from UChicago with a degree in music. I play Irish fiddle and classical violin first and foremost, but I compose on all kinds of things.
I've gotten really into film production in the last couple years; I have one finished feature that's being submitted to festivals now, and another that's in post-production.
Teaser Trailer for the movie that's finished (WARNING: I no longer have hair like that. That was grown for the part in the film, and will not be making a reappearance in the near future)

Aside from music and movies, I draw and paint a lot; I love acrylics and sketching, and I'm a certified EMT. I'm also a barista, because it pays the bills. Go figure.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
disappearing for large periods of time, during which I won't answer my phone or respond to emails. It's a knack.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair. It's red, and people seem to love informing me of that. Also, I'm 6 foot 2, so I'm assuming that gets factored in.

Books: Max Weber, Vikram Seth, Rohinton Mistry, Maloy Krishna Dhar, Tolstoy, Bulgakov, Nabokov, Hemingway, Graham Greene, Brian Moore, Evelyn Waugh, Terry Pratchett, Halldor Laxness, the list goes on endlessly.

Movies: Doubt, American Psycho, stuff by the Coen Brothers, Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Danny Boyle, David Lynch, Paul Thomas Anderson, most things with DeNiro or Pacino, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, and everything I've seen by Kathryn Bigelow thus far.

TV: BBC wildlife documentaries, "Sherlock", BBC wildlife documentaries, "Boston Legal", BBC wildlife documentaries, the old British series "Yes, Minister" and "Yes, Prime Minister," "Family Guy", "How I Met Your Mother", and wildlife documentaries. Made by the BBC.

Music: Modest Mouse, Paco de Lucia, Ravi Shankar, Ennio Morricone, Pink Floyd, Portishead, Harry Mancini, John Williams, Ram Narayan, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Justice, Air, Liz Carroll, Flook, Lunasa, Danu, a bit of Kila, the Chieftains, Planxty, Silly Wizard, Grieg, Debussy, Puccini, Mahler

Food: Indian, French, Thai, sushi, pizza - everything except conch, which tastes vile.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My instruments, books, Indian food, camera, editing rig, and a 168-oz. bucket of hot coffee every morning.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, art, literature, food, power, and beautiful women.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes I play music, sometimes I hang out with friends, sometimes I get wrapped up in a project and just keep working. In fact, that happens most of the time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very ambitious, and I tend to put work first in my life.
