Hey, thanks for stopping by! I'm going to keep this short because A: I'm usually pretty wordy and B: this ain't no Kindle, you just probably want to make sure I'm at least somewhat normal. So here's the highlights: I'm passionate about discovery - the activity, not the channel. I like to explore the city, exercise, nature, language and - importantly - music.

I grew up in L.A. and then lived in London longer than expected. As a result, I still use Britishisms with regularity.

Now I'm excited to finally plant some roots as a grownup back in U.S. and travel locally - camp, hike, all that Bay Area stuff that's not really doable in England.

My job is seriously amazing and I love it! I'm also exploring San Francisco and always making friends (I'm still new here). I discovered yoga last year and am now pretty big on that too. I also have freaky new muscles as a result.

I'm also pretty passionate about a slew of hobbies, in the following order:
DJ podcast / gigs- always chasing the next amazing track.
(It's probably best that you at least occasionally enjoy music one can dance to, cause I've been known to geek out on it.

Writing:
I do it for work, but I also like to do a flash-fiction challenge once in a while.

Building crap from smaller pieces of crap:
I like doing stuff with my hands - most recently, this has turned in to fixing up an old lamp. At times, it's been welding and painting.

Books: The Picture of Dorian Gray, 1984, Fight Club, Idoru or pretty much anything by William Gibson, Slaughterhouse 5

TV: I miss the Sopranos, Mad Men, Simpsons, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Daily Show, Downton Abbey (yes, really)

Movies: Don't watch many - prefer stuff that's an hour-long max - BUT: Fight Club, V for Vendetta, Inception (let's argue about it)

Food: French and Italian, all day - but not really everyday. Also, anything pop-up.
And finally, no other city makes eggs Benedict so available and delicious, so it's new to me and I love it.
