On my twelfth birthday Lifter Puller (college rock) released their first album, the very night Il Duce from The Mentors (punk rock) was hit by a freight train and killed. Il Duce had said in interviews that Courtney Love offered to pay him to kill Kurt Cobain.
On my fifth birthday, Nirvana played at a goth club named Man Ray, the same club a friend of mine would regularly sneak into the year he was fourteen, a club that is now condos. Five years later to the day, on my tenth birthday, my friend lost her virginity (she was fifteen then; we didn't meet until I was myself fifteen).
The day after the day I was born they started filming Death Wish 3 down the street from where I live now--supposedly its name uses a number rather than Roman numerals because according to survey done at the time, over half of U.S. citizens could not read Roman numerals.
I don't say I'm a fan of this stuff, but I do like The Mentors a little and Charles Bronson a lot.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
gorgeous sunless tanning, streaming family movies, DISH with free Hopper upgrade, fine hotels and resorts, fifteen outfits guys consider the most enticing, IdentityGuard, and Zillow.com. Business Circle is built for me!

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Will they complete the trilogy of Cats & Dogs films in 2019?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
working until nine, and then who knows?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I probably ate dog once.

You want to go for a walk in the park, or ride bikes to Randall's or Roosevelt Island, because I've never been to either one.
