My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a librarian who is just looking for someone I can have a good time with! I am not looking to get married or have kids- those things don't even fit into my life plan. I am looking for something between just sex and long term relationships. I am not entirely sure what that is, but I would like to find out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a librarian. I love learning and am always looking for new things to learn. I am an avid and pretty talented knitter. I love traveling. This past year I got to go to England for a week. My friends and family live all over the country so I get to do a lot of traveling to see them. I like to play tourist both locally and when I travel. Every year I do National Novel Writing Month and I complete it almost every year. Most of what I write is mindless dribble not fit for others to read, but I consider that practice.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a very good knitter. I will always have a project I am working on. I am a voracious reader. I typically have 6-7 books being read at once and I can easily keep track of each of them. I have audio books, ebooks, print books and I choose based on my location at the moment.
The first things people usually notice about me

I am loud and plus size- I can be hard to miss.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I am a crazy media consumer. I read between 50- 75 books a year between audio and print/ebooks. My favorite books are those that change my life in some way. I love Jane Austen, especially Pride & Prejudice and Persuasion. I also love Tolkein, Herbert, Atwood, King (the Dark Tower series more than anything else he wrote), and Martin. Fight Club and Confederacy of Dunces are two of my all time favorite books.

My TV consumption isn't as eclectic. My daily consumption is typically focused on The Daily Show and Colbert Report. They are my news and I am not ashamed of it. My favorite shows- the ones I will even binge on- include: Doctor Who, Buffy, Angel, Sailor Moon, Muppets, Game of Thrones, True Blood, anything with Gordon Ramsay, Fringe, Lost, and probably a lot of others that I haven't thought about all summer. I tend to be drawn to fantasy shows.

Movies: I love movies, but mostly watch them on DVD or streaming. Again, Sci Fi/Fantasy movies and dramas. I don't do romantic comedies because they piss me off really quickly... I love Horror movies, especially the classics. I like comedy movies, but I can get picky about those. My DVD collection is small because I only keep the movies I truly love: LOTR (the animations and the Jackson run), Star Wars, Broken Lizard, Christopher Guest, Clueless, 80s Brat-pack movies, and Scream are in either the DVD or digital collection.

Music... I know what I don't like more than what I do. I don't care for country music, death metal and most heavy metal.

Food: I don't like 90% of sea food. I am pretty willing to try anything these days. Diary is my enemy, especially butter. I can cook well enough. I don't make a huge deal of cooking for people.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My knitting
My kindle (all the books on one thing)
My bed (I have spent a lot of time making it perfect)
My laptop
My friends
goals.. I always need goals.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I am goal oriented so I spend, probably too much, time setting goals, seeing how well I am doing with them, and checking things off to-do lists. I think a lot about knitting: what I am currently making, what yarn I need for future projects, how much can I knit at once, etc.
I spend quite a bit of time in my head. As a terrible writer, I often have ideas that play out in my head and have to be written down. I think a lot about my cat as she demands my attention if she believes I am not thinking about her enough. Right now, for example, she is meowing and dancing around the chair trying to get me to scratch her head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am doing one of two things. First, I primarily go to a Friday night knitting group in Nashua, but that doesn't go terribly late so when that is done I typically come home and crash. I need a recharge- I am an introvert so once that battery is gone then I am done. If I am not there, the second thing I do is spend evenings with two of my best friends eating, drinking and having a good time (knitting, television, movies, and such). Keep in mind, I don't mean we/I cook- I mean we/I eat.

There are occasional Friday when I am just home, alone and enjoying some much needed quiet time with television or books.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have taken this seriously and I hope you do too. I read profiles and I look at how you answer all those questions and quizzes. I hope you do too. No, this is not perfect, but if you are honest then we can discover the details together. Message me if you like what you have read. Make it clear that you think there is a possible connection.
That being said, so many men start with a "you're pretty" comment. If you are inclined to do that, just stop now. Think about something I have posted above that may work better for you. I feel like I have given you a lot to work with.
I will ignore messages if I think you have totally missed all of this.
