One thing I've never liked is famous quotes, or even worse, song lyrics, in a profile. Your profile is where you make your first impression, and doing so by referencing something makes you seem, well a little empty. And the song lyrics people quote are often trite. Using your own quotes, or quoting people talking about you, is much better.

But a journal post seems like a reasonable place to point to quotes that resonate with you, so indulge me.
