My self-summary
Hello there!

I'm a practical guy. I prefer order to chaos in my life. Spontaneity is overrated. I'd rather to have a plan and stick to it as much as possible.

I'm really good at questioning and finding flaws in things. Things such as your hopes and dreams, movies, shows, etc. But I won't do it in a malicious way... its sort of how my humor works.

So, for example, if you say your dream house has a garden full of butterflies, I'll be sure to ask how you're going to get the butterflies to stay as soon as you let them loose. Butterflies only live for about a month before they die. Are you going to get new shipments in all the time? I feel like the amount of enjoyment you would get from a butterfly garden is not worth the amount of hassle it would take to create and maintain it. Especially after the initial wow factor wears off. These are important things to consider!

Its not the kind of humor everyone can get behind, but if you can relate, we should definitely talk.
What I’m doing with my life
Working from home full time. I'm a programmer / software tester / tech support person.

It has advantages and disadvantages.

My morning commute is only a few feet from my bed to my computer, and I save a lot of money on gas, but I don't get out of the house much because I live in the middle of nowhere and don't ever really HAVE to leave except to buy food and stuff.

Also, paying off debt (fuck that).
I’m really good at
Bowling
Computers
Listening to the same couple songs on repeat for weeks on end.

Not good at:
Finishing things I started
Dancing
...
I'll finish this later.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pretty damn tall.

Also, people always think I look angry, but I'm (usually) not!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Dragonlance series (read the first 6 books three times each), Slaughterhouse 5, Catcher in the Rye. I don't read that much anymore, mainly because I find other forms of entertainment more alluring right now, and in this day and age theres just a media oversaturation so I feel like I never get to watch / read / play everything I want do. Just not enough time in the day.

TV: Curb Your Enthusiasm (Larry David is my hero), The IT Crowd, The Daily Show, X-Files, South Park, Game of Thrones, and of course Doctor Who!

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, Groundhog's Day, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog, Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, Dogma, Inception. Pretty much any movie that makes you think.

Music: At the risk of sounding hipster-ish, you probably haven't heard of them but if you have we should talk. Cunninlynguists are my fav. Atmosphere is a close 2nd (well, you might have heard of them).

Video Games: Top 5 of all time would be Half Life 2, Beyond Good & Evil, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Portal, and DotA 2. Not necessarily in that order.

Food: I don't eat leaves. Or drink Coffee. I'm addicted to Pepsi. Not a sauce person. I love bacon, burgers, pizza, potatoes, etc. Basically, I eat like I'm still 12 years old.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family
2. Computer with internet access
3. A car
4. Goldfish (those things are so addicting!)
5. A watch (I feel naked without one)
6. Pepsi
On a typical Friday night I am
Bowling! I'm in a league that plays on Friday nights so I typically go there straight from work. After that, I just like to go home and chill.
