I work hard but my work doesn't define me and I value my involvement in other things. I had been dancing a lot, but am now feeling like I need to focus on one of the instruments gathering dust in my apartment.
I've also just taken up running. I'm not a "runner". So this is interesting...
I like to go bowling, to the movies, to live theater, to small-venue rock shows, to the zoo, biking on the lake, to museums. I'll go anywhere and do anything. My answer to an invite is usually "I'm in." I'll try almost anything once. Since I like to eat (and am so not ashamed about that), I think a great way to get to know someone would be to take a cooking class - collaboration, conversation and knife skills. Interested?
I have no problem going out and doing things by myself. Would rather have company.
I can get fancy, but I'm really more dive bar than disco. While I'm not looking for any one specific "type" (physically at least), I do think chemistry is important. I'm looking for someone who is hard working, active, kind, likes to think, likes to laugh. An independent someone who is looking for a partnership that doesn't necessarily complete, but complements. If there's a little bit of closet rock star thrown in there, that's a bonus.
MY closet rock star just got a tattoo of a stack of books on her shoulder. I read. A lot. And I like tattoos. Both on myself and on others.
