I've been a dancer for years: performer, choreographer, teacher. Now I'm also in a dance/movement therapy masters program which is so satisfying for me; this work runs the gamut from clinical talk therapy to physical therapy. I love learning new things!

Being open and honest. Giving the benefit of the doubt, and yet taking everything in life with a grain of salt. Making lists. Making huge awesome salads or big egg breakfasts. Adventures. Real deeply caring love.

Usually my eyes, which I'm told are large, and my hair which is long. Or else they notice that I am dancing.

I absolutely love to read, and read widely. I've always loved Isabelle Allende and Gabriel Garcia Marquez' magical realism. I read mostly non-fiction these days, and I'm a nerd. I tend to follow a particular thread for a while, like early American political history (and loved reading a history of the supreme court), modern dance, physiological psychology. But I love politics, sociology, and am crazy for sci-fi. I'm known to pick up a book about something completely new to me. Favorite films include anything by Almodovar, "Let me in", most things zombie centered such as "Sean of the Dead"; "Best in Show". Enjoyed "Skyfall" and "Django" not too long ago, and "Pina" was fabulous. But my all-time favorite is "Annie Hall".

As for music, Tango of course. Leonard Cohen, Depeche Mode, Grizzly Bear, 80s music. The cello is my favorite instrument.

And as for food, well, I love to eat. I like to cook, and enjoy cooking for others. I love the variety this city has to offer, and could live on thai food. I love sushi, Gracias Madre, and wine!
