NOTE: So it turns out that I never did come back and update this. The young man I set my eye on didn't seem to care that it wasn't complete, and things just went from here. He's brilliant mechanical engineer, a musician, and my sunshine, so don't even think about trying to chat me up ;)

I'm a closet English major who actually studied physics and computer science. I design wargames for a living. I live in a lovely little apartment I call my tree house, and I'm thinking of getting a bearded dragon.

I work as a software developer / product manager. I'm also pursuing a graduate degree, and I get to travel a fair amount.

At the moment I am entirely enjoying the change of the seasons. I love when Autumn winds blow in crisp and strong and wash away the heat and smog of summer. The sky opens up into a clear, blue cathedral, and I feel so utterly alive.

I'm thinking more and more on my writing of late and wondering if I have time to really pick it up again. I'm also looking to strike up conversations with new and interesting folk. Life has become slightly less wonderful as old college friends gradually drift out of state or into marital bliss...

Love to go out Swing dancing or to concerts or off on weekend adventures. I also spend a lot of time just hanging out with friends: having them over for dinner, games, or a movie. I love spending time with people and talking about the things that matter to them or whatever strikes our fancy.

I met a wonderful young man through OkCupid and we're very, very much in love, so I'm not looking for anything more than friendship from anyone else. That said, I'm always up for new friends if you live near me!
