I am articulate, have a fab vocab, and umm....

My Self-Summary

I'm a techie and writer with a strong interest in the humanities. I work out, eat well, read, struggle to improve. I also sit for hours in front of the tube when it's truly called for. Friends notice and appreciate my a) warmth and interest in others, b) deep personal values, c) intelligence and mastery of detail, and 4) obscure little self-amusements that blur the line between sophisticated wit and random mental discharge.

I'd like to find a woman of heart and mind. It would be nice if she has opinions on culture, art, history, philosophy, religion, science, etc. Also it would be cool if she is a fairly hot tomato with the appetites of a mink. So, sort of a philosophical mink tomato with a big ole heart. A cardio-veggie mink-mind, if you will. That's pretty much it. Thanks for reading.

I’m really good at

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Godel, Escher, Bach, Ender's Game, Green Eggs & Ham... War Games, Electric Dreams, The Miracle Worker... mostly pop/rock/folk, Broadway esp.Sondheim, some classical/jazz... jalapeno bean dip, calamata olives, sushi.

A little more on the books, since reading & discussing ideas is pretty important to me: lately I've enjoyed The Wisdom of Crowds, The Tipping Point, Blink, The Metaphysical Club, Pragmatism, Zero, Misquoting Jesus, The History of God, Mind Wide Open, The Chalice & The Blade. Fond of sci-fi (used to read a lot more of it), occasionally read a popular or artsy novel.

The six things I could never do without

Matter, energy, time, space, the five universal forces, cable TV.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

how to explain things. Don't ask me why.

On a typical Friday night I am

walking around Creve Coeur Lake, or at Gold's, or in City Diner reading.

You should message me if

you think we could have a world-class romance (seriously, the whole very-best-friends-up-all-night-talking-and-so-forth kind) or if you owe me money.
