My self-summary
I love making people laugh. A lot of the time my style is very silly. Sometimes I'm sarcastic. Wit is great fun, but I also enjoy the occasional bout of self deprecating humor.

As my profile is under construction, I will tell you a few more things about me. Random is the name of the game.

I enjoy going to the "Geeks who Drink" Trivia nights with a group of my friends. Yay! pub quizzes!

I donate my hair when it gets long enough.

I quote movies a lot. If there is a movie that I love, chances are very good that I will say lines from it on a regular basis.
What I’m doing with my life
During the week I'm your basic office monkey in a state job.

I also work at the box office of a theatre; The kind of place that shows plays, not movies.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh. I love making people laugh. sometimes I say things that make people laugh... sometimes it's a silly face. I'm totally willing to make a complete fool of myself to bring up someone's mood. I feel accomplished if I can make someone's day by giving them something that will make them giggle whenever they think about it.

I bake a lot: cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, ect. I haven't failed since I was a teenager (don't ask). I make tasty treats... now.

Used to be good at sign language... now I'm just good at teaching people to swear in sign language.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. it's red. People also probably notice that I'm really nice. A friend of mine told me that he noticed my laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
a) Anything by Neil Gaiman, John Green and Jim Butcher. I loved the books Neverwhere, American Gods, the fault in our stars, Wicked, White Oleander, Lamb. the gospel according to Biff. My favorite series of books is The Dresden Files novels.

EDIT: I just read Old Man's War by John Scalzi. it was amazing!

b) Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, fight club, coyote ugly, garden state, V for vendetta, serenity, almost anything directed by Kevin Smith, or Joss Whedon. My most recent acquisition on bluray is the set of Star Trek next Generation movies (generations, first contact, etc.)

c) My favorite 3 shows are Doctor Who, Stargate SG-1, and Firefly. I never really thought of myself as a sci-fi geek… but I start naming all the TV shows that I have loved, I bet that more than ¾ would be sci-fi.
Firefly needs to be mentioned. As few episodes as it had, it’s remarkable how well loved that show became. I thought it was amazing. How many canceled shows become major motion pictures?
Doctor Who is a show that I only vaguely remember watching when I was a kid. I can’t remember all that much from the old version. I have seen every episode of the new incarnation of the show. This show has given me a different perspective on the world… in little ways.

EDIT: I've also gotten really into Game of Thrones, Orange is the new black, and Breaking Bad. Damn good shows!

d) Julia Nunes, Meghan Tonjes, The Kimberly Trip, Tool, a perfect circle, sublime, flyleaf, Alanis Morissette, the soundtracks to Wicked, Garden State, Sweeney Todd (mostly cause it amuses me to hear Johnny Depp sing), Once more with feeling. I'm a huge sucker for 90's alternative rock... That's my childhood.

e) sushi, pasta, steak and potatoes, and more sushi
The six things I could never do without

2. my friends
3. my cell phone
4. laughter/comedy
5. my car
6. Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
*How to improve my life.
*What I would do if I won the lottery.
*the past
*going back to school

I also think about things like... if I were to become really well known... and were to be interviewed by someone like leno, letterman, oprah, Graham Norton, ect. I think the interview out in my head. I know it's a strange little quirk of mine. I also know I'm not the only one.

Sometimes I think about if my life were like groundhog Day... what kind of things would I change? Mostly I think about how I would learn every language, and every musical instrument. I think about learning everything there is to know about everyone and everything. If I had an infinite number of lifetimes... I would do it!
On a typical Friday night I am
Most friday nights I am working at the box office. If I'm not there, I might be out with friends... or staying in with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m a big girl. A lot of the time, when I'm looking at people's profiles, I go immediately to see how a couple questions were answered... Mostly the "I prefer..." Question. If you answered "slim/thin" I typically stop reading your profile right then.

I dance when I'm alone, especially when I'm cleaning.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 27–36
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
...If you are nice. I like nice people.
I love funny people. If a guy can make me laugh, I'm hooked.

If you like red heads, geeks/nerds, and comedy enthusiasts.

If you are a Sharks fan. (although the aquatic animal is cool, in this instance I mean the hockey team.)

If what I had to say was interesting to you.

Also, if you were velcro... which side would you be?
