My Self-Summary
Hey, my name is Harley R. Pageot and I am awesome.
I always use my middle initial and I have for years. It started in junior high when I noticed a lot of novelists use a middle initial and I had dreams of being a famous author at that point so I adopted the practice and it's stuck.
I love nature, libraries, pop music, public transportation, animals, photography, Canada, sunshine, zines, love and/or rockets.
My grandfather was the keyboardist for the band Steppenwolf ('Born To Be Wild', 'Magic Carpet Ride', etc.) and performed on The Ed Sullivan Show. My biggest claim to fame is that I won a train set from the grocery store in a coloring contest when I was 8.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm in my second year of English at York University and I'm
planning on going to teacher's college when it's all done. I hope
to teach grammar school, particularly grade three or four.
I help out at a record label called Fuzzy Logic Recordings. We put out fabulous albums by groups like The Bicycles and through it I've played baseball with Laura Barrett and got to go to free Julie Doiron concerts.
I write comics and help co-run the Durham Comics Guild. I make zines including an ongoing fanzine/perzine called Yard Sale! I run the Broken Arts collective out of Oshawa; we put on art jams and book concerts.
