Geeky, intelligent, intellectual, curious, honest, positive,
caring, sometimes adventurous, patient (sometimes to a fault), and
a good listener. I have a passion for what makes this universe tick
and how we humans use technology to investigate its depths and
share that knowledge. Astronomy is a passionate pastime to connect
to the wonders of space and time. Computers are also a passion
where we can probe alternative realities, knowledge and the human
community (internet, simulations, etc) at the speed of the
I occasionally attend theatres (movie and performance), galleries,
museums, planetariums, concerts (both rock and symphonies) and
sporting events (but the girls soccer games I used to coach don't
count in that).
I have two lovely daughters who are the joy of my life, dynamic and
vivacious in their own individual way.
After doing some background work on Myers-Briggs, for those that
are interested, I'd associate myself closest to an ISTP, although
there are some INTP tendencies too. Not much of a change
I have also traveled somewhat, Eastern and Western Canada, but
mainly to southern climes to enjoy the culture, cuisine, weather,
and scuba diving. Again, alternative environments on multiple
planes of existence.
I enjoy fine wine, fine food which is most deliciously accompanied
by fine company. But don't take that as being "fancy". Burgers and
fries are fine too.
Musical tastes vary. Pink Floyd, Boz Scaggs, Enigma, new age,
smooth jazz, rock, blues. Very little country and no rap.
