My Self-Summary
My name is Amanda and I am 20 years old. I attend Iowa State
University. I am a junior in Family and Consumer Sciences
Education. I have always had a passion for teaching and I am
finally fulfilling that dream with an education. I have always
wanted to be a teacher, but now that I look at it I don't really
know what is happening. I have never really dated and am looking
for someone that I can spend the rest of my life with. I want
someone that I can be myself around and that I can hang out with. I
am looking for someone that I can cuddle up with on the couch and
have an evening in, but also go out on the town and not feel like
they are more interested in the other people around us and not how
I feel, but I still want to each of us to have our own freedom and
not feel like we have to do everything together.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a junior in college and I want to teach Family and Consumer
Sciences when I graduate. I have a year and a half left of school
and I really hope to teach somewhere in the state of Iowa when I am
done. I hope to get married and have a family some day. I plan on
going back to school to get my master's degree at some point, but
not right away. I love education and I just love kids. I am looking forward to
having a family of my own and living in a big house with a big back
yard so that I can have dogs and kids to watch and play with.

I really like sewing and singing. I am also pretty good at just
hanging out with friends and watching movies and playing games. I
really like to cook
and bake also. (Be
prepared to be spoiled) I like making dinner and having someone to
share it with.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like a lot of movies. I really like animated movies as well as
everything else. I really like to cuddle up during scary movies
cause I am a chicken when it comes to those. I like all different
kinds of food and I am always up for an adventure when it comes to
food. I will try almost anything. Music is one of those things I
don't really care about it is just background noise. I don't really
have a lot of time to read cause I am going to college and all I
ever really read is the newspaper or textbooks which really doesn't
count.
The six things I could never do without
I could never do without my cell phone, my bible, my family, my
sketch book, my friends, and my bed. These might change I couldn't
think very well right now.

On a typical Friday night I am
I usually hangout with friends and watch movies or go out to eat.
Sometimes if it has been a stressful week I like to just hangout at
home and relax by watching a movie and hanging on the couch.
