My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
OK, I'm 30 now, so no more denying who I am or who I'm after.
My whole freakin' world revolves around cinema, heavy metal, video games, alternative art, anime, weightlifting, advanced technology, comics that no-one appears to have heard of and baking hot holidays abroad. And I'm looking for someone just as like-minded or at least appreciative.

I'm loyal and honest to all my friends and family, I don't cheat, lie or play around and I always go out of my way to help someone out close to me whenever they need it. And I wouldn't expect less from any future partner I may be with.
I have two large tattoos - and may get more in the future. I'm no boozer though I do LOVE my Jack Daniels. And I can quote entire lines of dialogue from episodes of Red Dwarf to the glorious annoyance of my mates. :-D

And yes, I'm a man on a dating site who's legitimately after more than just the 'one' thing for a change.
................we're talking bacon, right?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in the City of London for a major financial company. But that's just the income.
In my spare time I write, I play guitar and bass (albeit very raw), weightlift, host a monthly film quiz and currently starting up a Youtube video project.

As it stands I'm enjoying my life trying to get the most out of it each day. Even catching up on all the things that may have slipped me by when I wasn't busy struggling through the first recession.
But I've been single for a while now and as much as I enjoyed the casual fling occasionally I'm more than willing to find someone more special to devote my time and share all of my awesome nonsense with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I was complimented on my writing skills when I was an online film critic. But now I'd rather write my own material than judge others.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Perfect teeth, blue eyes, receding hairline, hatred of authority and wasps. Pretty normal.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
HUNDREDS! To name just a few; Pulp Fiction, Leon, T2, Aliens, Akira, Kick-Ass, Se7en, Oldboy, The Big Lebowski, The Evil Dead, Goodfellas, Mulholland Dr, The Marvel movie series.... This is a good way to kick up a conversation with me.

TV Shows;
Let's see;
I watch very little TV to be honest, although I tend to love watching classic British sitcoms from the 80s and 90s, (Bottom, Red Dwarf, Father Ted, etc) nearly all of the hit HBO series (ie Game of Thrones/True Blood/The Wire, etc) or South Park
And I love anime too. Some of the more ambitious, out there brands like Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Paranoia Agent, Ghost in the Shell, Samurai Champloo, Attack ON Titan, Death Note & Fullmetal Alchemist

Anything almost, but its primarily toward Progressive and Industrial hard rock/heavy metal. Machine Head, Pantera, Sepultura, Slipknot, Nevermore, Dream Theater, Carcass, Devin Townsend, Scar Symmetry, Alice in Chains and my no.1 - Fear Factory (I have a Fear Factory tattoo on my leg)
Aside from that, 80's cheese, 90's indie, 00's electronica, and a love for symphonic music too.

Books & Comics;
Anything dark, fantastical, satirical, (Japanese ;)) or pulpy - and if its available on a kindle. I kinda prefer it this way
Bottom line; Stephen King, Clive Barker, Charlie Brooker, China Mieville, Garth Ennis, Warren Ellis, Neil Gaiman, Katushiro Otomo, HP Lovecraft. If these names ring a bell in your tastebuds we may share some similar ground.

PS3, PS4 and the Vita are what I own (I deny being a Sony's just...easier this way), although I wish I had more time to be on it than I used too. I prefer narrative-driven games instead of online or MMO titles. My favs being Resident Evil, Silent Hill 2, Dead Space, Mass Effect trilogy, The Last of Us, GTA, Mortal Kombat, Spec Ops: The Line, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, Doom, the Batman Arkham series and many more.

I love Italian and Chinese primarily. But my tastebuds are open to everything. And I'm learning to cook myself for more recipes.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Pets (mine recently passed away)
Spare change
Jack Daniels
My left hand :P
Raven-haired women
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Dozens of script ideas I'm never giving myself time to sit and write down.
Visit Germany, Italy and most of all Japan, before I die.
Annihilating people who ride on those awful poxy Boris Bikes!
The zombie apocalypse and the impending rise of Cthulu, because why not?
...the usual I guess.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the cinema probably more than anything. It's Sunday nights it's when I'm with the local mosh monkeys having a drink or two.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an evil identical mutant twin brother chained up in my attic who lives on a diet of fish and marmite. His name's Keith.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you think we share a thing or two in common or if you find me interesting, and if you're actually looking for something long term.

Another thing, if you're messaging from halfway across the country or abroad, there would also be very little point, I'm not looking for pen pals.
Materialistic gold diggers, headcases and pretentious social justice warriors need not apply either.
