I'm a very dynamic person. The last few years have brought on a lot of changes in many areas of my life. The one constant that I try to keep with me at all times is a sense of curiosity about the world. I love learning and my favorite thing to do is challenge myself and grow through those challenges.
I lead a very active lifestyle. I am planning on trying to learn a martial art soon but keep myself busy with rock climbing, yoga, biking and anything that can take me outside. I am curious about the world and love to learn about it.
Traveling is something I love and I try to do it as often as possible. My trips have always been pretty long (4 months), with no plan and done on my own. In my travels I have been fortunate enough to spend 4 months in: India (grew up there but it is a whole new world when you are traveling), South America (Peru, Chile and Colombia), and Africa (mostly Ghana, but also touched Kenya and Tanzania). I also spent 2 months traveling through South East Asia. The lessons that I learned from these travels are the ones that define me the most and I look forward to learning more.
Social justice is the thing that I am the most passionate about. I am not sure what area I want to work in, but I feel an immense responsibility to use my position of privilege to better society in some way.
My career goal can be summarized by this statement: To find a job where I wake up wanting to go to work. I have not found where that can happen for me yet, but I am not even close to done looking.
I consider myself to be curious and always trying to learn.
