My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi :~) I'm a tran-something young person moving to Athens for a year of writing and laying low after college. I'm a queer communist christian and I write a lot of poems. When I was in school (graduated just this past May) I was involved with the student newspaper, radio station, and feminist organization.

I'm on here to meet new people and have a nice time with others, whatever that may mean! :~)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an independent scholar and artist. I lived in Atlanta/metro Atlanta all my life, so I'm moving to Athens...just cuz! I've spent time here before, and always really enjoyed it. It seems like a nice place to chill for a while :~)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Engaging others in conversation, caring about other people, enjoying a meal, being "420 friendly" lmao

Music: Post-punk, new wave, hip-hop (ESPECIALLY southern hip-hop — "The South's got something to say"), soul, 2000s-era pitchfork bullshit. I'm always looking for new music! I don't really do metal but I'm about punk as well.

Shows: Twin Peaks; Neon Genesis Evangelion; Parks & Rec; Fresh Prince of Bel-Air; Seinfeld.

Movies: Black God, White Devil; Blue Velvet.

Food: Sandwiches, Mexican, Colombian, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian.

Books: The Phenomenology of Perception, Fear and Trembling, The Communist Manifesto, Beloved, A Thousand Plateaus, A Lover’s Discourse, Native Guard, Life on Mars, White Teeth, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, Sappho’s poetry as translated by Mary Barnard
