I love to laugh,with delighted recognition,could be birdsong or a mad intense idea I love to laugh with not at-kind intelligent I swim read I write poetry I carve out my own philosophy constantly. I love cats and birdsong and one dog.I am teetotal(not moralistic I just had an earlier life of excess and am enjoying sobriety-I imagine a partner who creates and maintains the cake of his life[his creativity & relationships etc] and whatever consumption he partakes of is merely icing)Let our words be better than silence
and our building together be of bridges not barriers,delight in the delicious otherness of us.. Nature with all her many moods lifts me enchants me saves me from the pit sometimes.I love beauty in all its forms skyscapes,music that moves me,poetry,some science truth sometimes .I am often untidy but my herbs and spices are well organised I am more interested in being than doing though I am addiicted to swimming in the cold ocean.

Swimming,reading walkingtrying to be a human being as opposed to a human doing,writing the odd song and writing poetry,here is a(relevant) extract it is a response to all the lists of books and films that feel to me like mad hoops in an old fashioned circus ,jumping through them takes time and energy (and proves nothing) that I would rather spend in some open-ended gentle sharing of our essential selves- and/or joyful exploration of our differences-delight in the delicious otherness of us join me if that appeals;

I am a good and fast reader,I read a lot of the questions you have answered ,I look for connection -not total agreement(except on crucial issues like no war violence racism etc) I start with the questions that are important to me,and if that is going well after a few pages I read those that are important to you-so if you notice I viewed you but didn't contact you it is because I read reflected on and respected the answers that showed what you want is not what I can happily give so if for example you say you only want a women under 45 I won't contact you(I tried it once got no answer)

I lived a lot off grid in the middle of nowhere so not seen a lot of films Night on Earth Jim Jarmusch , Delicatessen & the city of lost children Jeunet and Caro anything by Robert Altman food is affected by the above middle of nowhere living Indian ,Thai ,Fish
music too much too many genres to even start.

one thing I don't "rate" people(without which a profile is apparently incomplete) I haven't met-until we meet it is all spin and theory. Some thoughts about God (which seems to come up with some thoughtful men) I believe that when we fall in love with a sunset , when we are filled with tenderness and reverence for our children we are having an experience of "the sacred" when we deeply care about the oceans when we want to be part of the solution not add to the problems of violence and pollution we are also connecting with "the sacred", the difficulty with religions is that they are often saying" Only in my church with my priest my rules can you experience the sacred-" Some things in the bible are dangerous "Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”Genesis 28 Where this logically leads to is genetic engineering ,worldwide pollution and a total disregard for nature and bio-diversity-!! So God as love yes but the bible word for word no.

I might be dancing to house music I might be reading I might be on a beach singing there is no typical!

I love being happy enough to do nothing -to just walk hang out-I don't always achieve that state .Sometimes when I do I feel guilty about how great I can feel just being alive .

I want to connect with someone in europe and meet asap I have a rich full life better things to do than email people far away so men in US Australia etc please understand that I am not looking for email pals from far away. A kind & intelligent man.Open heartedly I look for a warm-eyed man ideally you are able to be gentle to yourself & others but also you can hold to your own important truths with bravery & self respect. Warm ,laughing & not bitter, you value your health enough to be able to go walking dancing,maybe even swimming with me(which I love) I don't know what you look like.If you'd put some thought into what relating requires of a person & started to construct some framework in your own quality of relating to yourself as a springboard to being able to create something real with another-that would be great or even if that idea is deeply appealing to you!.We all fall & fail the point is we keep on trying.
If u only have 2 lines about yourself the subtext(I do believe there is much intelligent life on this site) is that just because you are available I should want you-or that you don't care enough/aren't really ready to go for something real and special-or that you won't/can't communicate-none of those appeal-.I am ready for glory-truly..So if you love birdsong ocean cats truth delight and connecting as opposed to competing yes please If,you read (or workshopped or listened to audios by ) David Deida and were inspired and wished you could find someone to really go for the divine with in the way he teaches is possible then yes yes yes ,if you liked reading this then yes too .
