I am free-spirited, nostalgic, and explorative.

My Self-Summary

I am very independent but find solace in being around my closest friends.
I am loyal, sometimes to a fault.

I love to document life. Not just my own but those of people around me. If you're looking for pictures (or commentary) from a certain event, I'm your girl.

I want to see as much of the world as possible. Although I'm willing to live/travel anywhere/everywhere, my home will always be Chicago.
As long as the radio's blasting oldies, I could drive around aimlessly with the windows rolled down forever and not even notice I'm lost or sans destination.

I love animals and insects. When I was younger I aspired to be an entomologist and a dolphin trainer. I became neither of those things, but am still greatly interested in anything wildlife.

A dream job of mine would be to work in a dead-letter office. I have an ongoing love affair with the postal system and adore writing/receiving letters and postcards.

I am my best self when in motion.
I am a visceral learner.
I miss my grandparents.
I love utilizing sign language (I am not deaf, but took 3 semesters of the language in college and fell in love with it).
I always think I'm older than i am, but I've passed for 12.
I come alive when a dance floor is involved.
I'm not sure what I would do without music.
I love themed parties.

I love and appreciate anything funny.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently looking for a new job...hoping to combine my writing and photography with my love of world travel...

Meanwhile, I've been a personal driver for an awesome kid the past two years. I also walk the family's dogs and do their grocery shopping.

I've been in the Around The Coyote art festivals the past two years and have intermittently had stuff published in various magazines/newspapers.

Also, hoping the magazine I co-started with some friends in college (Make This Magazine) comes back to life someday.

I’m really good at

remembering conversations, taking candid photos, keeping in touch with people, remembering birthdays, being detail-oriented/observant

also, eating more pizza than whoever else is with me

oops-is that 7?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the past. I rarely consider the future, but the past makes us who we are. With that said, I do a pretty good job of living in the present.
