My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am originally from Europe with a wicked sense of humor! I do speak fluent English but depending on who you ask, I've been told my accent is either funny, weird, odd, mysterious or sexy! I would describe myself sort of your boy-next-door type, reserved and private in public, not so reserved in private! I have been living the United States on and off since the early 80's and permanently since the early 90's. I have always lived in the San Gabriel Valley. My preferences when it comes to dating is slim/slender to athletic body types, when it comes to friendship I have absolutely no preferences. I treasure all my friends, male and female, as they help keep me sane! The "F" word is NOT part of my everyday vocabulary, so please, you be the same. I practice fastidiously clean personal hygiene and expect the same from any girl I meet. I am a bookworm, I will read and read and read like there is no tomorrow! I am a bit on the zany side, someone once told me there is never a dull moment with me around! I am a touchy-feely kind of person. On occasion and with the right girl I enjoy sharing some PDA, just to show her how much I care.
If my self-portrait has:
1) Not made you run for the door ... lol :-)
2) I still have your attention
3) You're still reading
then, the following is a works-in-progress profile of yours truly.

Things I could very well do without:

First and foremost: TV
Most of the crap on most American TV stations
Most of the crap "news" about loser Hollywood celebrities
Political bickering
Bots and fakes from online dating sites, you know who you are, many of you are on here too
Sarah Palin and gold diggers like her (This is NOT a political statement)
Lastly: TV (Turn the darn thing off, for good!)

Things I could never live without:

A good woman by my side
A good book (A Thief In The Night & In God's Name are my all-time favorites)
BBC World News
The Daily Telegraph
International Herald Tribune
My laptops
My huge movie collection (3000+ & counting)
First Date
Meeting for coffee and pastry as the Europeans do

Meeting for a beer or two as Rednecks do

Or perhaps meeting for lunch

How about a nice dinner with a glass or two of Chianti

If you're watching those calories, I suppose we can also meet at the library

Or Barnes & Noble

I walk daily, a minimum of 4 miles so if you are up to that, it's a good ice breaker

Do you have a bicycle? We could cycle around town together, that's always fun, fun, fun

I suppose a strenuous mountain hike is fair game too, great hiking trails in the San Gabriel Mountains

For a first date/meeting, I am open to anything as long as it does not involve smoking, drugs or anything illegal.

Please be for real, I have ZERO, ZILCH, NADA interest/tolerance towards bots or phonies

If you are interested in playing mind games, please just move on, there are plenty of fish out there!

I am shyish in public, boy-next-door type, and bad boy in private!!
