Having been brought up in two different continents and two
different cultures has give me a perspective on life and
appreciation for the simple things in life. From birth till age of
9 I grew up with my grandparents and attended boarding school from
ages 6-9 before moving to US to be with my parents in NY. I
remember seeing snow for first time and learning to speak English.
Yes English is my second language, now I have a NY accent. I
treasure my experience growing up in India and US.
My profession is Medicine, I'm a doctor and I work for myself. At the end of 2000, I found myself divorced and with a 5 year old to raise under some tough circumstances. I made my son my number one goal and to be a great dad. I have been there for him physically, emotionally and financially. Now that he is grown, I realize the empty nest syndrome. Hence forth, I am here on Match.
I love to travel, I have been to India, London, Caribbean, many parts of US and Canada. I like to visit, Peru, Europe, South East Asia and parts of Africa. I would love to have companion to travel with. I like to find that special person to share my life with, some who I can trust and grow emotionally, physically and spiritually with. If it happens that I fall in love again, the better. Politically, I'm middle of the road, leaning left. I love to run, hike, cycle, and swim. I like trying new things like rock climbing, kayaking and white water rafting.
About me, I'm intelligent, active, fit, accomplished, caring, compassionate, and a passionate person when it comes to things and people I care about. I am financially stable and not looking for some one to take of me and vice versa.
I am looking for an intelligent, kind, attractive, and active woman to compliment my life. Someone with a career and independence would be nice. Chemistry is important as is someone who is and open minded.
