Currently I am living in Beijing, China working full time at a nonprofit organization and studying Chinese on the side. Originally from New York City from a Latino background. If I could describe the force that keeps me going, I could tell you that Bernard Shaw has put it perfectly well.

Yes that is what I want... I want to go to sleep tired at night because it meant that I would have done something important with my life.

I am still trying to find myself. Currently I do communications and fundraising at an organization here in China that helps the migrant community. Previously, I worked at a union helping the working class improve their living standards. Since I am in China, I am taking a year break from my masters in labor studies and hopefully law school after that. My ultimate goal in life is to start an organization for immigrant workers of all ethnic backgrounds. I am passionate about immigration reform and improving the life of the working class. As you can tell my passion lies in my work and the work of others.

how to fix the world, naive -- I know :(

Zumba date with my best friend, followed by elliptical and weight machines, shower and dinner paired with drinks and laughter. Perfect Friday nights!

Not the most private, that will take some time ... but I will admit that I cried when I watched Happy Feet, during the scene when he was placed in the aquarium and walked around in a daze. After that I kind swore off aquariums and zoos!
