My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am:

A wandering sophist; punch-drunk from the idea of finding some shard of beauty in this chemical, synthetic, faux world that we find ourselves living in.

A soul with a mildly unhealthy obsession with music...And by mild, I mean raging.

An INFP...which is code for bleeding heart.

Neurotic, loving, pedantic, fun, pushy, quiet, opinionated, saturated in a thousand colors, and exhausted from the thrill of it all...but only sometimes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
WARNING: Pseudo-intellectual dribble ahead!

I would tell you how many colleges I've attended, but I'd rather you tell me your best guess :) I've studied philosophy, history, ancient greek, math, science, political science, psychology, music, sociology and classics. I've yet to acquire a degree, which I lose no sleep over, because I'm too flighty and interested in too many things to commit to a single major (or to a degree of any kind, for that matter.)

Typically, I occupy my time with people-watching, analyzing random events or comments, reading, and painting. I love spending time outside, either with excellent company or all by my lonesome. Sometimes I pick up a guitar, but only when I'm alone. I quite prefer all of this to the time spent and wasted in college.

I also have the greatest job ever. Ask me about it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Mediating. Contemplating. Analyzing. Loving. Writing. Laughing. Debating. Persevering. Wandering. Wasting time. Listening. Fretting. Watching. Learning. Procrastinating. Thinking. Getting lost in my head. Arguing. Being a pedantic ass.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You would have to ask yourself that question. I'm tiny, and my hair looks different almost every time you see me. It has a tendency to react to my emotions...i.e, if my hair looks flustered and out of place, chances are, that's just about exactly how I'm feeling that day...also, it changes color frequently ;p.

I've also been told that I smirk a lot. While most people would consider this to be a snide thing to do, I find it helps me keep my mouth shut :p
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Greco-Roman classics, black humour and satire. Vonnegut, Adams, Lucretius, Palahniuk, Sappho, etc...I'm won't pretend to be eccentric enough to pull off saying that Plato and Aristotle are two of my favorites, because I don't want you to preemptively fall asleep before our first conversation.

Music: Whatever weirdness I can get my hands on. Elliott Smith has been my latest kick. Grunge, 'punk-cabaret', delicious hip-hop (Blackstar, etc.), 80's macabre post-punk, ska, cliche stoner-rock, classic and classical, indie-folk, grrl, blues with a good dark groove, and offbeat goodies. I've been listening to a lot of Guided by Voices, some Brand New, and WHY? lately. It's been quite fulfilling.

Movies: I love artsy flicks just as much as the next pseudo-intellectual, but gallows-humour always gets me. Examples of my favorites include: Death to Smoochy, Fifth Element, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Idle Hands, Evil Dead, Brazil, 12 Monkeys, and the like. The Fall has recently captured my heart. Amazing.

Foods: I love sushi, seafood, steak with a heartbeat, thai, curries (green especially), indian, mexican, pho, ethiopian, korean and italian. Basically, the more spicy, the better. I also have a huge soft spot for baba ganouj, lamb and falafel. Let's put it this way: If it's weird, I want to try it. I'll probably love it.
The six things I could never do without

Hanging out with people I love...This may or may not include:

Standing around smoking in cold weather.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
