My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I still consider myself relatively new Baltimore, but when I start giving Lyft drivers directions, I feel that Baltimore has become my home. I'm originally from from New Jersey (wait did I just ruin any chance I had...) and moved here for a job as an actuary after teaching math for five years. I tend to start off a bit shy, but in time you wont stop laughing.

With my job I have to study for actuarial exams or at least attempt to study but usually stare blankly into the nothingness. So someone who is supportive or in grad school is a plus and we can spend our weekends at the library. I will be a little cliche here, but I am looking for a best friend. I'm looking to share and create memories.

I am very goal-oriented. I view this as a weakness because if I am not actively pursuing some sort of objective I get uneasy. However, completely contrary to that I am the most laid back individual you will meet. I like going to the movies and just enjoying the company I'm with. A day spent at a museum finished off with a good dinner out (or in) is perfect. Maybe a day trip to DC?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying every moment. What more can you ask for.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Depends on if they look at me from the front or from the back.

Not much of a reader but my goal is to read a few chapters each night.... I wish I read more. My favorite books that I have read are The Catcher in the Rye, Anthem, Bright Shiny Morning, I am sure there are more. Recommendations please!

Movies: Almost anything, but I rarely watch the same movie twice.

Shows: Why bother? Tv shows rarely make it past a season or two

Shows: Les Miserables

Music: Just a sampling: Nirvana, Foo Fighters, STP, Alice In Chains, Oleander, Our Lady Peace, Shinedown. I think that gives you a feel. I also like most pop music.

Food: Pizza, Burrito, Chicken Parm. Not into seafood except shrimp.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. witty jokes whether appropriate or not
2. the ability to be compassionate
3. friendship
4. the "little things" in life
5. creativity-all forms: music, art, invention, perspective
6. travel
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All the words I can't type with my left hand (on a standard keyboard) and all the words I can type with my left thumb (on my phone). I have a few favorites.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing something typical. Isn't it the atypical nights you should want to know about?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
After getting a hot cup off coffee I immediately bring it to my mouth only to realize it is too hot but I continue and pretend to take a sip anyway

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are laid back but have an internal motivation like no other. You don't generally sleep in late, emphasis on generally. You'd rather be out doing something than just watching tv, but appreciate a good netflix binge. You have a strong sense of independence but understand the values of togetherness and compromise.
