Hello interweb, my name is Kettner(d)...hrm. what is there to say? I am an over the hill veganstraight-edge kid who moved frombrooklyn to philadelphia in 2006 to try and get shit done i spend a big chunk of my free time hanging out in coffee shops working on comic books and illustrations. when i'm out and about i'm usually on my bicycle which i have taken to calling "professor zoom"

I am an unapologetic geek and I have been obsessively interested in comics, sci-fi, RPG's, etc. since i was a little. I studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts at the turn of the century, but have spent the subsequent years working a number of joe jobs , nothing i'd call a career, though i have gotten some good stories. Now that i've hit 30 i've re-focused a bit on making pictures and have been showing my post-human portraits around Philly. I listen to mostly punk/hardcore. though that has less to do with a sound than it does the community behind it. most of the shows i see are in basements and living rooms. and can be anything from sappy pop to tooth chipping thrash.

When the weather is nice i really like to ride my bike and get into wacky adventures, but i'm also keen on being an antisocial hermit. for instance , it's 4am on a saturday and i am watching videodrome and playing on the internet. this is not uncommon.

depends on who's looking i guess....i kind of think i bounce between being practically invisible to "ewww, a tattooed hobo!"
but really the thing i get stopped for the most is my sleeve of some of my favorite comic book panels.
