I'm a friendly caring guy who enjoys seeing others happy and enjoying themselves and sometimes forgets about making myself happy. All areas in my life seem to be moving in the right direction, finally, but my knight is still out there somewhere, are you him? I have taken some time out from my studies and go back to university in September. Ideally would like to find someone for a long term relationship as I am not getting any younger and feel I'm at the stage of my life that I should be thinking about settling down, however, friends are always welcome!

At the moment i'm a 2nd year student nurse! Taking a bit of time out until September thanks to getting messed about emotionally by an ex, but thats all over with now and am finally back on track. I'm a determined individual and plan on seeing this course through to the end, despite how difficult and intense it can get. So for the time being i'm back in my good old cafe job getting some cash saved up.

I like to catch up with friends over a coffee or a wee alcoholic beverage or two. Don't go out in the scene much these days, it's went a bit downhill and don't care for it much though I do go out every now and then.

Have started back at the gym and eating healthily after the festive period of indulgence and have so far lost 9.5lbs and hope to lose another 10lbs in the next few weeks to get back to my old self again, and I have to say I'm enjoying it too!

Would like to travel more, I have a fascination with Canada and hope to one day move there. I really don't get to travel as much as I would like but have to say I am really excited for my trip to New York and Canada at the end of the year. New Years in Times Square is going to be awesome!!

I'm a good listener and like to make sure my friends know they have a shoulder to lean on when they need it.
I'm also good at commitment, I'm a very committed person and like to see things through to the end, I don't like to let people down.
I'm sure I'm good at other things too but I shall leave that up to you to tell me ;)

I love watching movies, mostly horror and I'm always on the search for new, random, obscure horrors I've yet to see. I do enjoy other movies too, and I have to say I do like the works of Pedro Almodóvar, not so much into romance though.

Recently the only books I have time to read are all nursing textbooks, so nothing fun there, but rather interesting.

Music, mobile, the internet, coffee, money, Red Bull (sugar free) :)

I spend a lot of time thinking about lots and lots of crazy things! Like aliens! The galaxy.... and the one beyond that... and beyond that... and beyond that... like really when does it end??? and is it all stored in a gigantic glass ball like thing???
Oh and what really is in the depths of the oceans??? Now that really does freak me out!!! The fear of the unknown, in fact being in the sea full stop scares me, but thats really because I almost drowned when younger.
Then so more general things like; What my future will be like.... what I will be doing, what city I will live in, what type of man I will be with, what the world would be like if....

Varies. Could be working (more than likely) or maybe out for a few drinks, watching a new horror that i'm excited about seeing! definately NOT at the cinema... I refuse point blank to pay the extortionate prices they charge these days! Please don't ask me to the cinema... ever... unless there's a nice reward waiting for me afterwards... or you are willing to pay.
