I am an accountant not a writer so this part is not my cup of tea.

I have lived in the Tacoma/Seattle area my entire life. My house right now is in Pacific but I hope to move back to the North End of Tacoma in the next couple years. I love working with numbers so being an accountant is great for me. I have a son who is a senior this year in high school and I still trying to figure out where the time went. I have been married twice, once to my son’s father and then again after that ended. I am very much a motivated person who gets things done. I like to plan things out, surprises are not so much my style. But plans can be as simple as hanging out or a cup of coffee (which I am allergic to so maybe a smoothie instead) I spend a lot of time with my family and take my dog almost everywhere with me. I have amazing friends that have been in my life so long they are more family then friend at this point. I am not good at being quiet, I speak my mind and share my opinion freely. Thankfully I do have a filter that works most of the time so I don’t get in to mush trouble. I have lots of interest but trying new things can take a bit of convincing. I am a geek at heart and provide tech support to almost everyone I know, but I am okay with that and wear my glasses proudly.

So lets se if this is enough of a start to get me to 20% profile completion 

Not sure New Years Eve is the night to be asking myself what I am doing with my life but here goes right.

I am hoping to change employers in 2013. I have a very cool job that I have applied for and now it just comes down to the companies 2013 budget. Being an accountant in a recession is interesting to say the least. My son graduates HS in June and I am sure that will bring about all kinds of change. Right now I guess you could say I am looking to make some changes in my world and don’t quite know where they all will take me. Something’s that wont change, my independence and time I spend with my family.

I think this section will need to be revisited for updates soon.

What am I good at? Well writing is not on that list, unless it is 140 characters or less.
I am good with numbers.
I am an okay cook, meat and potatoes kind of cooking not very fancy.
I am a good parent or at least my kid tells me so from time to time.
I am good a listening and talking. Debate can be fun but only in good spirits not angry arguments.
I am an amazing packer; I can fit more things in less space then anyone I know. My friends say it looks like Tetris to watch me pack and arrange things.
I am good at sitting quietly and enjoying things around me. I don’t always have to have noise or action to keep me occupied.
I am a great cheering section. I embarrass my kid all the time when he is in plays and concerts. I am the loudest mom in the audience.
Not sure what else to add here, it would be nice if they didn’t expect you to fill all these sections out all at once.

The fist thing people notice, well any other day I would say my green eyes, black hair and alabaster skin, all part of being Scottish. But this week it would have to be my hot pink hair. It started out very red but has faded to pink and since I love pink I haven’t dyed over it again yet. That and I don’t know if I want to go back to black or stick with red a while.
After about 10 minutes people notice my confidence and that I am very out going. I will be the first to stand up and go for what I want.
After a week people notice my consideration and reliability. If I have a friend in need I will be on the phone or their doorstep. If I say I will get something done, I find a way to make that happen. I hate to cancel plans but accept that they have to be changed from time to time.
After a month, well that’s different for everyone isn’t it.

Okay this is where my complete lack of being able to remember names will be my downfall. So this is going to be a little more general. I love SciFi, movies, books, TV, conventions (I did mention I am a geek already right?) I also know the origins of many Marvel super hero’s and have R2D2 as a ringtone. I am totally into tech. I love playing with the newest and shiniest toys. In contrast when it comes to music I am a stuck in the 80’s. I love hair bands and heavy metal. But you will also find some death metal in my play list for when I am having a bad day or really need to concentrate and country when I want to smile. You could say my music taste is very eclectic but defiantly does not include Hip Hop and Wrap. I like musicals and suspense movies. I like shows that make me think and feel. I am addicted to reality TV and consider it brain candy. I love a good steak and potato dinner. Oh and chocolate cake or ice-cream. I don’t like potty humor but do like comedy. I love live music but am not a big dancer. I have to admit I have zero interest in professional sports. I like a HS or local AAA game but avoid The Safe and Clink Field.

Currently I might be chatting with friends or hanging out with my kid or going to one of his school functions. But isn’t the point to this site to change my typical Friday night?
