My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a self identified nerd embarking on the long voyage to get paid for researching what I love: history and culture through theater. I've lived in four different states in the last five years, and I've finally settled down in Seattle.

Because I was born with the best Staircase Wit in the world, I'll quote some of the things I wish I had said but didn't.

"The human race is a race of cowards, and I am not only marching in that procession, I am carrying a banner."
-Mark Twain

"Being Deeply Loved by Someone gives you Strength. Loving someone Completely gives you Courage."
-Lao Tzu

"It's not enough to survive. We have to be worthy of survival."
-William Adama, Battlestar Galactica.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've moved back to Seattle after a year in California getting my MA in performance studies. Looking for jobs that I can build my teaching experience while working on my resume for PhD Programs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking about theatre, literature, film, and history; sounding like I know what I'm talking about regarding theatre, literature, film and history; quoting films and T.V. shows; saying that I'm going go to bed at 12 and then staying up for the next 2 hours; cooking; doing a Richard Nixon impression(I watch a lot of Futurama to the point where it's become a running joke with my thesis advisor)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I sound like I'm from Canada: I'm not, but I was raised by British parents so I learned how to talk like a Canadian. Also, I look like I'm part Asian: I'm not, so I don't know where that comes from.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My brown coat, My Jack Harkness coat(I like coats), my brain, and my senses. This puts me over six, sorry.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can get grant money to write a book about the American depictions of piracy, all the way up to the Sons of Anarchy (I know they're a Bike Gang, but I promise they're actually pirates).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Mostly at my apartment with my roommate, watching television and/or playing board games, or out in Fremont looking for a new bar we haven't tried yet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My Dad's father suffers from Wet Macular Degeneration, so there's a fairly good chance I'll one day go blind.

Pocket Watches
Men who wear at least one of the above on a regular basis.

If you always know where your towel is (mine is usually in my bag)

Also, if you think I may be interested in messaging you. I'm very bad at getting the whole conversation thing started. I'm also very out of practice at flirting, so apologies if I come on either too strong or not strong enough.
