My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love to learn, and I love to talk about what I'm learning even more. Sometimes I talk a little too much, but I'm trying to work on that.

I find it hard to meet people outside of my usual zone of friends(which is very small), and I object to the whole "long term/short term" category of dating. I don't go into things expecting them to end in a specific time frame; things unfold like they're supposed to.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm moving back to Seattle after a year in California getting my MA in performance studies, going to be getting a job in the theater and working on my resume for PhD Programs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking about theatre, literature, film, and history; sounding like I know what I'm talking about regarding theatre, literature, film and history; quoting films and T.V. shows; saying that I'm going go to bed at 12 and then staying up for the next 2 hours; cooking; doing a Richard Nixon impression(I watch a lot of Futurama to the point where it's become a running joke with my thesis advisor)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I sound like I'm from Canada: I'm not, but I was raised by British parents so I learned how to talk like a Canadian. Also, I look like I'm part Asian: I'm not, so I don't know where that comes from.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Great Gatsby, American Gods, Beowulf, Macbeth, and any play by Chekhov or Beckett.
Movies: Just about everything that isn't a horror film. Or a documentary about food. God I hate those.
TV: Star Trek: TNG/DS9, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Batman Beyond, Battlestar Galactica, Warehouse 13, Haven, Archer, Sons of Anarchy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Vicar of Dibley, Fawlty Towers, Top Gear, That Mitchell and Webb Look, American Horror Story. The IT Crowd, Grimm, Dracula, Hannibal, The Thick of It, QI, Mock the Week, Black Sails
Games: Mass Effect Series, Diablo Series, Assassin's Creed Series, Bioshock Infinite, Saints Row the Third, just about any board game (except Monopoly. Fuck Monopoly.)
For Music, here's all the stations I have on Pandora: Dire Straits, Barenaked Ladies, Elton John, Battlestar Galactica soundtrack, Master and Commander Soundtrack, Mozart, Frank Sinatra,
Food: Everything except the following: Broccoli, Eggplant, Sweet Potatoes, and Tripe.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My brown coat, My Jack Harkness coat(I like coats), my brain, and all my senses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How awesome it would be to have an Omni-tool from Mass Effect. Or wings. Big, feathery angel wings.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm kind of a homebody; on Fridays you'll usually find me in my Apartment watching films or playing Video Games. Sometimes I'll go out for a walk around Downtown and maybe get some tea and a slice of carrot cake. Sometimes I get together with a friend and do some table top gaming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The first concert I ever went to was NSync. I was 10.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think that any/all of the following are cool:
Bowties
Waistcoats
Pocket Watches
Men who wear at least one of the above on a regular basis.

If you always know where your towel is (mine is usually in my bag)

Also, if you think I may be interested in messaging you. I'm very bad at getting the whole conversation thing started. I'm also very out of practice at flirting, so apologies if I come on either too strong or not strong enough.
