Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been called engaging, worldly, sexy, warm hearted and one
verry funny guy -- gosh-a-golly, gee-whiz!
Otherwise, well-grounded, not-too-shabby-looking guy looking for a
partner to laugh with and love....
I'm a long-time newspaperman who likes to think outside the box -
that glass ain't half full or empty, it's just too big. I'm easy -
but no pushover. Likes children and dogs.
Equally at home at a black-tie affair or in a South Bronx
squadroom. My friends run from creative/media types and cops, down
the food chain to some shady characters and politicians. I do a
fair amount of travel writing and am passionate about
Summing up: an all-round nice, funny, romantic, sexy, sensual,
smart, caring, interesting guy who knows how to laugh at life and
at himself, looking for his equal.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it day by day, finding the beauty and the humor in it,
carrying my baggage with grace, and working on some goals.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
A gentleman never tells, but trust me on this one....

Music: Mostly matches my personality - Jazz is my brain candy, sold
my soul to Rock 'n' Roll, and Latin and Bossa Nova get my hips
Two favorite Country-Western songs -- "I like my women a little on
the trashy side" and "Prop me up beside the juke box when I die and
pay your respects a quarter at a time."
Movies: "The Lives of Others" - Took me back to bouncing around the
two Germanies covering the fall of The Wall.
"Bull Durham" and "Field of Dreams" - especially for a guy who is

Jules and Jim, King of Hearts, Harold and Maude, Babette's Feast,
Manhattan, Wings of Desire, and the usual Marx Brothers, Fred and

NOT - repeat NOT - into shoot-em-ups, guts-n-gore, hi-speed chase
action stuff or Disney fluff. I like "thinking" movies.
FOOD: The appreciation of a fine restaurant meal, the occasional
kindness of friends' home cooking and the standard reporter's lower
right hand desk drawer stock of Cup O' Noodles soup, Snicker's bars
and a bottle of Jack or Jim.
