My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Former student for monastic religious order, quiet, reserved man of country sensibilities, not in great demand in this world of glamor-conscious, urban-women in war-paint, perched on high heels, conducting "dating" interviews with men, and "chemistry" experiments, to, as Janice Ian sang, "marry into what they need, for "guarantee of company, and haven for the elderly.".

Finding that elusive, complementing female beating heart in bars and the madding crowds is not an option. (Not that she would be there, anyway. :-) Thus, since my aunts haven't found her for me, it's OKC.

Hoping to engage an intelligent, thoughtful, humane, spiritual and sensual woman, with similar limited options for a romantic soul mate, also seeking out of this urban jungle of singles, and to bring some life-enhancement to such a woman.

Perhaps even a former nun. ;-)

Looking to make a difference in a good woman's life, who, maybe, has experienced the bad luck referred to in William Boyd's observation that "It's all luck in the end, that's all life is. All the good luck, and all the bad luck, that's the only story".

Maybe a woman with dependent children, or working on educational credentials,, or in transition to another life-path, who would welcome a secure man's support and protection as a romantic life-companion.

Personality traits - intellectual, philosophical, idealist, pragmatic, inquirer, skeptical, stoic, teacher, social activist, naturalist, humanist, serious, playful, Humane Society and PETA supporter.
