My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Who are you? What do you want? I don't really have good answers for these questions, so this summary is going to be somewhat incomplete.

I like to watch movies and TV series, spending superfluous time on devouring the internet and listening to music. I also enjoy computer games, but don't actually play them a lot lately. I pluck the strings of my bass guitar to relax.

I know how that sounds, but I don't totally confine myself to quarters. Weather permitting I like to bike or take my car out on some of our mountain roads. Sunbathing with a book is great, too, and the night lends itself to stargazing.

I'm fascinated by technology and science, and love expanding my comprehension of the world. Never mind getting lost on Wikipedia every now and then.

Apparently my personality profile is INTJ. I try to be neutral and tend to be a perfectionist, although not obsessively so. I hate masks and am straightforward and honest with everyone... except my boss.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living and growing. I love to indulge in what's fun. Language is very important, there are few things that tickle my funny bone as thoroughly as a clever pun. I love ambiguity and find old English hilarious. (English, base knave, dost thou speak it?!)

I work at an electronics company, where I get to do lots of puzzles and creative work. In my spare time I'm writing down random passages to a story that is forming in my head. Also pondering what else might be out there for me - the world is my oyster, or so they say.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sleeping at odd schedules. I'm technically inclined and can easily figure out how stuff works. Not letting random stuff I have no control over worsen my mood.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Must be the long hair that gets commented on the most. Also, while it's a bit of a clichè, my eyes seem to get attention. I can be silent as the grave if I don't have anything to contribute to a discussion, which people who don't know me apparently find strange.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Most of my favorite songs are Metal, but I there's great music in almost every category - I tend to cherry-pick material from here and there, be it Johnny Cash or Eminem. Metallica, System Of A Down and Die Toten Hosen come to mind as some of my more important bands.

Action and Science Fiction movies are what I like best. Aliens, Serenity, Star Trek/Wars, Die Hard, Last Action Hero... examples from other genres are The Princess Bride, Lord Of The Rings, Dogma, Pirates Of The Caribbean; I'm not a fan of limiting my taste. When it comes to current TV shows I recently discovered Breaking Bad, adding to Futurama, Dexter and some others.

Some of the games I'm most fond of, sorted by age: Zelda: OoT, Grim Fandango, Deus Ex, Freelancer, Star Wars: KOTOR, Bioshock, Portal, Fallout 3

My favorite book is Neuromancer, runner-up: I, Robot. What can I say, I dig the classics. I don't read quite as regularly as I'd like to, but I'm catching up.

I'm a bit picky when it comes to food but can't say that I have a specific preference. While I adore Chinese and Italian cooking, many other cultures have produced awesome dishes. But food is nothing without spices. Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon and Curry are amazing. Interestingly, they all start with a C. Concidence?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Concise spontaneous honesty: Internet, Humor, Chips, Milk, Car
... and another six things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Causality. How to improve the status quo of myself and the world at large. Entropy. Where the universe is.
