I am Kind, Caring, and Loyal.

My Self-Summary

So, I just got back from a semester abroad where I studied in London for the last four months. It was really incredible, but I'm glad to be back in the Boston area. I'm pretty much an idealist looking for love. I'm not totally sold on the whole meeting people online thing because I usually have to be friends with someone first before I really fall for then. So I am looking to move at a slower pace. I am pretty introverted, it takes me a bit to warm up to people, but once I make a friend I tend to keep them for a long, long, long, time. I really love my friends. Loyalty is really important to me.

Anyways, I really love nature. Living in a city has made me appreciate trees and parks and water so much more- I really make an effort to get outdoors. I also love animals of all kinds and am a vegetarian. My friends make fun of me I have a tendency to stop and gawk at cute animals like birds and squirrels that most people tend to walk past since there are so many in the city.

I absolutely love music, particularly classical music since I've been playing violin since I was three. I love going to any type play, theatre, ballet, opera, vconcerts, and even movies heh. I'm also recently obsessed with playing scrabble. I tend to be a bit young at heart and get excited over the small things.

I also have a bunch of quirks, most which have to be discovered ;) But an example is the fact that I generally take the cheese off of pizza, even though I really like cheese. When I was little my mom used to take it off so I wouldn't choke and I just learned to like pizza better that way I guess.

I really love surprises and new adventures/ experiences. I like to be spontaneous but I love having little traditions too. But in general, I think it's really important to try new things and to keep growing...not to mention that it's fun!

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a psychology major and music minor at a Boston area school. I actually had an internship in the music psychology field in London which I loved. However recently I'm thinking about going into Human Resources or Higher Education Administration

I’m really good at

Listening to people, writing, musical stuff... I'm also a fairly decent cook. I make good vegetable briyani and chocolate gingerbread cookies.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know, they never tell me...well I never ask either.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

ANNA KARENINA!! Crime and Punishment, The Nanny Diaries, Rhinoceros, Frankenstein, Life and Letters of Tchaikovsky, and new guilty pleasure: Twilight series

All the Mornings of the World, Bridget Jone's Diary, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hilary and Jackie, Juno, Meet the Parents, My Best Friend's Wedding, Pretty in Pink, Primal Fear, Save the Last Dance, Two Can Play That Game, You've Got Mail, Waitress

Composers: Bach, Bartok, Barber, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Dvorak, Elgar, Faure, Grieg, Mahler, Mendelssohn, Monteverdi, Mozart, Puccini, Prokoviev, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Saint-Saens, Schumann, Sibelius, Shostakovitch, Strauss, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Verdi Conductors: Claude Abbado, Daniel Barenboim, Leonard Bernstein, Bernard Haitnik, Paul Haas. Artists: Aerosmith, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Maria Callas, Kelly Clarkson, Plácido Domingo, Jacqueline Du Pré, Eminem, Renée Fleming, Mirella Freni, Pierre Fournier, Niccolo Ghiaurov, Guarneri String Quartet, Lady Gaga, Leonard Kogan, Matthew Moore, Joni Mitchell, David Oistrach, Luciano Pavoratti, Shanghai String Quartet, Arthur Rubenstein, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

I love Indian food especially samosas. As I mentioned before I am a vegetarian but I'll eat pretty much anything else. I like pizza, reduced fat cheese-its they actually taste cheesier I think), green beans, pumpkin ravioli, peanut butter anything, chocolate etc etc.

The six things I could never do without

my family (including furry members...)
my friends
my violin
a camera (I love to take pictures of everything)
all the seasons of the Office because its hilarious
warm fuzzy blankets

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Other people and how/what they are thinking and feeling, my future, life, love.

On a typical Friday night I am

Well last semester I was living it up in London, often traveling on Friday nights to places like Cornwall and Scotland. But in general, just chilling with friends- watching movies, going out for dinner, anything fun really.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I think Jim and Pam on the Office are the ideal fictional couple. Also, my eyes are actually brown. I don't mean to be a sham, I just really like the way the blue and green contacts look.

You should message me if

If you are a really nice guy.

Also I'm looking for someone who is in the Boston area, and maybe 19-26 let's say.
