My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
stigmatophile, pluviophile, ailurophile, turophile. i’m in the midst of a transitional period…but aren’t we all?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
i make house music. i also have a job in corporate marketing, or as i like to call it, mind control.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
everyone's first question: what's your ethnicity? (hint: this is also one of my least favorite questions)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

books: the bell jar, the perks of being a wallflower, water for elephants, and the poisonwood bible are the going favorites. i'm currently reading kingdom of strangers. any suggestions? i'm trying to build a large book collection.

movies...i love scary movies. i even like bad scary movies. i have a thing for "found footage" horror. why? i don't know. "as above, so below" falls into this category. my favorite scary movie of all time would have to be "insidious." i also really liked "the town that dreaded sundown" (the recent one). i also like end of the world movies. and pulp fiction. duh. if you're one of those people who ~can't watch~ scary movies, i'm not sure this will work out...

my musical tastes vary widely. i like everything from house/electro/trance to punk/goth/indie rock to jazz to classical. not a fan of rap/trap though.

and food...i really like sushi, thai food, savory crepes, dollar tacos, really good seafood pasta, asian noodle soups of all kinds, veggie pizza, in n out, chow mein, dim sum, the perfect alfredo sauce, fancy salads, coffee flavored stuff, a good steak...i'm just a fan of food in general. i love food (and cooking). i'm pretty adventurous when it comes to trying new things, as long as it's not wriggling on my plate. i'm not a big fan of sweets though. and since it's in the culinary category, i'll include it here: i LOVE wine. i love wine tasting, wine pairings, cooking with wine, etc. it's great.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
cats, brunch, lip balm, good wine, blankets, and good food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
i like going out. bars, happy hour spots, clubs, even a nice dinner. despite my love for the nightlife, i do appreciate a weekend night on occasion. i would like to go to more art galleries, tbh.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

i love getting lost in the thesaurus, but i have a hard time remembering the words i learn for future use.

if you're looking for a fling or a flavor of the week, please keep moving. you're not gonna find that here. i'm looking for the real thing, ya dig?

i like stylish men with ambition, and it really turns me on when a man has his life together. i also have a thing for cunning linguists, in the literal sense of the term. if you fit the description, go for it.

i find messages rather pointless (in fact, i'm not very fond of digital communication as a whole), so i'd rather meet in person than send messages back and forth trying to convince an e-stranger that i'm cool.
