My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
my life revolves around music. i enjoy quiet conversation and learning new things. i have a slight obsession with earth science. i would like to spend more time exploring nature. i think san francisco is a beautiful city. i have an oddly sensitive sense of smell. i'm not very social but i love big crowds. awkwardly, placed commas make me uncomfortable. i think that capital letters are ugly, and therefore i don't use them unless i have to. my favorite color is FF0099, although i am also quite partial to aubergine, rust, and indigo. emerald and orange sherbet are recent seasonal favorites.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
i make house music.

everyone's first question: what's your ethnicity? (hint: this is also one of my least favorite questions)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

books: the bell jar, the perks of being a wallflower, water for elephants, and the poisonwood bible are the going favorites. any suggestions? i'm trying to build a large book collection.

movies...i love scary movies. i even like bad scary movies. i have a thing for "found footage" horror. why? i don't know. my favorite scary one lately is insidious. i also liked the ring and the descent. i also like end of the world movies. and pulp fiction. duh.

my musical tastes vary widely. i like everything from house/electro/breaks/other edm (not dubstep) to punk/goth/indie rock to jazz to classical. not a fan of rap/trap though. or polka.

and food...i really like sushi, thai food, savory crepes, dollar tacos, really good seafood pasta, asian noodle soups of all kinds, veggie pizza, in n out, chow mein, dim sum, the perfect alfredo sauce, fancy salads, coffee flavored stuff, a good steak...i'm just a fan of food in general. i love food (and cooking). i'm pretty adventurous when it comes to trying new things, as long as it's not wriggling on my plate. i'm not a big fan of sweets though. and since it's in the culinary category, i'll include it here: i LOVE wine. i love wine tasting, wine pairings, cooking with wine, etc. it's great.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
cats, the internet, lip balm, good wine, blankets, and good food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
i like going out. bars, happy hour spots, clubs, et cetera...although i pretty much go for the conversation and music and not to get wasted. i do appreciate a weekend night in on occasion.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

sometimes, i find myself singing aloud the saxophone part from "careless whisper."
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
*you should NOT message me if you're looking for a threesome. i hate to be so blunt, but it's something i constantly get asked on here and i'm not interested.*

but please do message me if you're a stylish man with ambition. i also have a thing for cunning linguists, in the actual sense of the term.

i find messages rather pointless (in fact, i'm not very fond of digital communication as a whole), so i'd rather meet in person than send messages back and forth trying to convince an e-stranger that i'm cool.

i feel like there are a lot of misconceptions about bi/pansexual people. please don't judge a book by its cover :)
