I have lived and studied at various times in my childhood, youth and young-adulthood in India, the Netherlands, Dubai and Indonesia. Since high school, I grew up in the Netherlands; as you undoubtedly know Holland is a liberal, tall and cheese-loving nation. At this point in my life I think I'm a chameleon: supremely adaptable at times, hopelessly lost on other occasions. I will say that I'm proud of my Indian roots and that will always be a part of me.

I'm a PhD student at Princeton (NJ) in Aerospace Engineering. Since coming to the US, I have found myself thriving in the collegial and collaborative environment that is Princeton but also toiling and floundering at times in this intellectual pressure cooker. I live, breathe and eat my research right now but being a final year my ivory tower days are hopefully numbered! To relieve the pressure, family is my most important asset. I live in a house with 4 other guys, my home away from home! Just last week, I got offered a job! Hurray!

Listening, being understanding, public speaking and worrying. I like to make people laugh, hopefully if we ever meet, you'll agree?

My 'confused' English accent. Also, Americans think I spell funny (colour not color).

I love soccer, tennis, F1 racing. I read a lot about politics, economics (I love the economist magazine!), history but also sport, technology....I love to read.

I def. like food: Indian, Italian, Mexican, Middle Eastern Chinese.....pretty much anything vegetarian.

Horror movies frighten me and give me nightmares (I am not a fan of that genre.....!)
