...hold up my end of an intelligent conversation on a variety of topics. Particular strengths include current events and religion. Logic is another biggie of mine, both of the formal and informal variety. One of the tests on this site asks, "If a implies b, does 'not b' imply 'not a'?" Not only can I give you the answer to that, I can tell you what that principle is called and produce the appropriate truth table.

...watch all the Monty Python you want with you. I'll even quote sketches and sing the Lumberjack Song with you if you like. Are You Being Served? is an acceptable substitute.

...try something new at least once, in most cases.

...know my way around a kitchen. I'm no Giada De Laurentiis, but given the right materials, I will neither poison you nor burn the place down.

...not expect to be involved in every single aspect of your life. I probably have some interests that aren't your thing, and I promise not to be offended if some of your interests aren't my thing.

After eight years of military service, I've finally found what I'd like to be when I grow up. I'm going to school at UNT for a degree in Computer Science. I eventually hope to land a position doing research.
