I grew up in in England, but have lived in the Adelaide Hills since I was 12.

The night before I enrolled in University I decided to do computer science, as it would probably be a good idea to do something useful... I also studied philosophy.

Alas as a computer programmer, I have a tendency to hide away by myself, which is made slighlty worse by the fact that I work form home these days... But, I don't really like hiding, and need to be dragged out every now and then...

I am quiet, thoughtful, and creative. A determined tea drinker (cannot bear to be without one when I am at home... but enjoys a good cup of coffee too)

I enjoy making music, playing guitar and synthesizers. This is for my own enjoyment though, and I have no illusions of becoming a rock god or any similar abomination...

I am in a long term relationship. We are both looking for friends (and possibly more) outside of the relationship.

Movies - I watched one once... I've been watching a few Miyazaki films recently ([Totorro], [Spirited Away]), and intend to watch more... Enjoy non mainstream films, and foreign language cinema...

TV - British humour - particulary on the slightly surrela side - [A bit of Fry and Laurie], [The Mighty Boosh], I enjoy things more if they are not entirely explicable...

Food - a variety... I like healthy food, and am willing to try new things

Ideally I would like to meet somebody who can be a friend, with interests in common, who I can go out with and enjoy being around. I am open to a more 'intimate' friendship, but that is not all I am after... I am not looking to replace my partner, and am not interested in sneaking around behind her back!
